Dash Dudley opened to 16,000 from early position with A♣8♥ and Stephen Chidwick called on the button with 9♠8♠.
The flop came 9♦4♠J♠. Dudley checked, Chidwick bet 13,000 and Dudley folded.

It just so happened that Dean Lyall and Everton Taylor have been seated next to each other on Table 402 and things got off to a rocky start to begin Day 4. Lyall raised it up to 16,000 in the cutoff and Taylor was stalling on the button, which led to Lyall calling the clock.
Things quickly got heated, and it appears that it dates back to previous years from Taylor saying, "We're not doing this again! Remember what I did to you last year?"
The floor was called to the table, and the two players were asked not to speak to each other, but that hasn't stopped them yet. Lyall continued to call the clock on Taylor and will likely continue to do so until the bubble bursts.
When the action folded to Jacob Frank in the small blind, he made a minimum raise of 16,000. Andreas Staschewski, in the big blind, didn't waste too much time before moving all in.
Frank had 132,000 left in his stack after his raise. He spent some time in the tank, to the point where the clock was called, giving him limited time to act.
As his time to decide was ticking away, he folded 9♥9♦ face up.
While many of the other tables are moving at a snail's pace and the clock is continuously being called, Luigi Curcio and Franklin Azevedo got involved in a large pot on the very first hand. Curcio raised it up in middle position and Azevedo flat-called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of 4♦3♥3♣ where Curcio continued with a bet which Azevedo called.
The turn was the 10♠ and Curcio fired out another bet of 50,000. Azevedo still called and the 5♣ completed the board. Curcio jammed all in as the bigger stack and Azevedo had a decision for his stack of 180,000. He thought for over two minutes but finally decided to lay his hand down.
In a pot worth 195,000 on a completed board of 5♣A♠K♣9♦Q♣, Justin Lapka checked from the big blind to Chahn Jung in middle position. Jung then bet enough to cover Lapka, making a call require an all-in for 53,000.
Lapka spent some minutes in the tank, eventually folding to leave himself with under seven big blinds on the soft bubble.
David Kaufmann opened from under the gun, but Richard Green quickly ramped up the action with a raise to 100,000 from early position. Action folded around to Ramon Munoz in the big blind, who moved all in for his last 38,000. Kaufmann got out of the way, and the cards went on their backs.
Ramon Munoz: A♣K♥
Richard Green: A♥9♣
With the bubble looming, Munoz was at risk, but the K♠3♥K♣ flop brought immediate relief, giving him trips. The 2♣ turn and 10♥ river were clean, locking up a much-needed double-up at a critical point in the day.
Francis Anderson was seen calling the clock, apparently having done so multiple times already due to players at his table stalling.
The floor ruled that his entire table would be put on a five-second clock for the duration of the money bubble, which Anderson applauded.
With 1,472 players remaining and 1,461 getting paid, eleven players still need to be eliminated before the money bubble bursts. Hand-for-hand is not yet in play.
Darren Elias won the first pot of the day with a raise of 18,000 on the button.
Elias opened to 18,000 again the next hand as the table (very slowly) folded around to Gonzalo Jose in the big blind. He three-bet to 53,000, and Elias instantly shoved forward a tower of chips to move all in.
Jose took a few minutes before folding as Elias took down another pot.
When action folded to John Roveto, he moved all in for his remaining stack, roughly 40,000. Brant Jolly, in the big blind, made the call.
John Roveto: 2♥2♦
Brant Jolly: A♠K♣
The ace-high 3♥A♣6♣ flop had Roveto in trouble. The turn 7♣ and the river K♠ couldn't offer him a way back, seeing him fall just short of the prizes.
The 1,476 returning players have taken their seats, and, with only 15 eliminations to go before the money is reached, the cards are in the air for the fourth day of the 2025 WSOP Main Event.
