Boivin Finds Cowboys

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Thomas Boivin looked down at KK in the hijack, raising to 55,000. Fabrice Bigot called his 76 in the big blind, and check-called when Boivin tossed in 45,000 on the 7Q4 flop.

The A hit the turn. Undeterred by the ace, Boivin bet 120,000, which caused Bigot to release his middle pair.

Gonia Gone

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
David Gonia
David Gonia

David Gonia was all-in preflop for all his 385,000 chips with Andreas Christoforou making the call to try and send him home.

David Gonia: AK All in
Andreas Christoforou: JJ

Christoforou had only a few big blinds more than Gonia, so this flip was incredibly significant for both players' Main Event. A low clean runout of 92572 was revealed by the dealer, meaning Christoforou's jacks held up, and Gonia was out.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Joey Padron was in the cutoff and raised to 50,000. Isaac Haxton called in the big blind, and check-called Padron's bet of 60,000 on the 7JQ flop.

The 4 turn then checked through to the 6 river, where Haxton fired a bet of 130,000. Padron instantly called, but he mucked his J10 when Haxton tabled Q5 for a pair of queens.

Merson Limps In, Viox Bluffs Three Streets

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Greg Merson
Greg Merson

Greg Merson limped in with Q10 from the cutoff and Chris Viox checked his option in the big blind with A4.

On the Q2J flop, Viox led out for 25,000 and Merson called to the 5 turn, where again Viox fired out a bet, this time for 75,000. Merson called again.

A 7 hit the river and Viox bet 85,000 with his ace-high, which wasn't enough to force out Merson, who quickly called with his pair of queens to win the pot.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Miltiadis Kyriakides
Miltiadis Kyriakides

Kyle Taddei and Miltiadis Kyriakides got the chips in preflop with two premium hands in a classic race, with Taddei barely covering Kyriakides, who was at risk for 985,000.

Miltiadis Kyriakides: AKAll in
Kyle Taddei: QQ

Kyriakides needed to improve to stay alive, and improve he did when the flop came K64 to jump into the lead.

The 10 turn was safe for Kyriakides, but the river was much crueler as it came the Q on the river, which elicited a reaction from both players as Kyriakides had an outburst of disappointment.
