Delmas Takes From Arbaugh

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Only one table remains in the Bronze section and it featured an open raise to 100,000 by Adrien Delmas from an early position and the big blind call by Brian Arbaugh. On the 1087 flop, Arbaugh checked and subsequently called a continuation bet worth 100,000.

The 3 turn was checked by Arbaugh and Delmas fired a second barrel for 300,000 after carefully studying the stack of his opponent. Arbaugh tanked for more than two and a half minutes to then fold.

Bosman Counterfeits to Double Up

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Hans Bosman
Hans Bosman

Small blind Benjamin Winsor put Hans Bosman in the big blind all-in for 450,000, and the Dutchman quickly called off for his tournament life.

Hans Bosman: AQ All in
Benjamin Winsor: 22

Winsor's ducks remained ahead on the 1036 flop and 10 turn, but the 3 river double-paired the board to nullify Winsor's underpair and ship the pot to Bosman.

Jansen Stalls for the Pay Jump But Survives

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Rahul Deevara opened to 105,000 in early position and Bradley Jansen three-bet to 375,000 on his left. The action folded back to Deevara who four-bet to 780,000. Jansen then went into the tank for at least four minutes, waiting for the pay jump, and then finally five-bet shoved all in for 1,785,000. Deevara quickly called and the cards were face up.

Bradley Jansen: JJAll in
Rahul Deevara: AK

"Gotta win a flip," Jansen said as he rose from his seat to get a better view of the board. The board ran out 555310 and Jansen clapped his hands as held for a double-up and got the next ladder.

Barash Makes Flush on Afriat

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Eric Afriat
Eric Afriat

In a heads-up pot on a board of 10A882, Eric Afriat bet 100,000 and Nadav Barash raised to 310,000. Afriat called.

Barash showed KQ for the nut flush and Afriat was not happy.

Barash raised to 210,000 from early position the next hand, and Afriat had some playful words about his opponent's demeanor as he folded his button and Barash won the pot.

"All day it's raise, re-raise, doesn't move. Like a statue. He sits still like a statue. Not even a word. Just sucks out every time. At least show some emotion."

Byungeun Shin

For the second hand in a row, Byungeun Shin went all in. This time, the bet was 535,000, and it was called by Benjamin Winsor in the big blind.

Byungeun Shin: K6 All in
Benjamin Winsor: A10

Winsor took a huge lead on the A9J flop, but runner-runner opportunities emerged on the Q river. The 7 river bricked, however, and Shing said goodbye to the Main Event.

Margereson Waits to Hear "Payout"

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Scott Margereson
Scott Margereson

Nick Pupillo raised to 100,000 in early position and Kaiwen Chen called on the button. Scott Margereson then reraised to 1,100,000 in the small blind and Pupillo, sucking vociferously on a straw, called while Chen got out of the way.

The flop came 545 and Margerson checked over to Pupillo who bet 200,000, enough to put Margereson all in. The tournament clock showed 225 players remaining, and with 224 making the next pay jump, Margereson waited until he heard another dealer across the room shout "payout" before sticking in his last chips.

Scott Margereson: 99 All in
Nick Pupillo: KK

Pupillo had Margereson crushed with his kings, and the UK pro couldn't find any help on the J turn or A river and was sent to the rail.

Gagliano Holds Against Hallaert

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

When it folded to Kenny Hallaert in the cutoff, he raised to 110,000. Michael Gagliano jammed for 875,000 out of the big blind, and Hallaert made the call to put Gagliano at risk.

Michael Gagliano: A9 All in
Kenny Hallaert: KQ

Gagliano was ahead with ace-high against the two Broadway cards of Hallaert. The 658J2 didn't contain one of the paint cards Hallaert needed to win, and instead, a portion of his stack was sent over to Gagliano.

Byungeun Shin: A2 All in
Lautaro Guerra: J10

The board ran out an uneventful 53395, and Shin's ace kicker awarded him his double-up.

Garner Collects the Last of Nguyen's Stack

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Vinh Nguyen
Vinh Nguyen

Vinh Nguyen shoved for 360,000 in early position and Michael Garner put in the call from the cutoff.

Vinh Nguyen: QJ All in
Michael Garner: AJ

Nguyen's hand was dominated and he asked to use his 'one-time', which seemed to be working as the 87K flop gave him a lot more outs with a flush draw. A 4 on the turn was a brick for Nguyen, and he failed to improve on the 6 river.

Pessoa Gets Two Streets of Value

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Ramon Pessoa
Ramon Pessoa

Jefferson Guerrero raised to 110,000 from early position before Ramon Pessoa defended from the big blind.

The flop 7J6 was checked through to bring the 7 turn.

Pessoa opted to bet 110,000 and was called by Guerrero.

The 2 turn did not deter Pessoa, who fired again, this time to the tune of 140,000. Guerrero gave it considerable thought before he put together the chips for a call and put them in the middle.

Pessoa showed J10 for top pair. Guerrero did not show as Pessoa took down the pot.
