Players head to a fourth 15-minute break, which will be the last of the day. This break will be the last chance for players to register into the tournament.
Button player Martin Kabrhel got it all in for his remaining 38,500 on a flop of 6♠4♣8♥ with 53,000 in the middle. Martin Zamani made the call from the hijack to put him at risk.
Martin Kabrhel: A♣K♦5♣3♦
Martin Zamani: Q♥J♠4♠2♥
Kabrhel paired his king on the K♥ turn, and held on the 8♠ river to secure a double, as well as survival.
Robert Mather made it 5,000 from the hijack, and Xixiang Luo called from the cutoff. Jonathan Poche squeezed it up to 23,000 from the button, and both of his opponents called.
Mather checked the 10♥8♣2♦ flop and Luo bet the pot. Poche called for his remaining 50,000, which forced Mather to fold.
Jonathan Poche: A♣A♠10♠9♥
Xixiang Luo: Q♦7♣10♦9♠
Poche had top set against the straight draw of Luo. The K♠ turn and 5♦ were clean for Poche, meaning he earned a full double-up through Luo.
Najeem Ajez raised to 4,000 from the hijack with Eric Cloutier calling on the button, Scott Seiver calling from the small blind, and David Jenkins defending his big blind.
After two checks on the 8♥K♥3♦ flop, Ajez fired out 7,500, which was only called by Jenkins.
Jenkins knuckled the action over to Ajez again on the 6♣ turn. Ajez jammed for Jenkins' remaining 37,500, and Jenkins reluctantly let go of his cards.
Action was picked up on the river, with the board reading 6♥3♦2♥K♥Q♠ and 63,500 in the middle. Yasheel Doddanavar was in the small blind, and shoved his remaining 55,000 into the middle. Julien Sitbon in the big blind only just covered his opponent, with 500 chips on top. After some thinking, he stuck in the call.
"Just a set," announced Doddanavar, showing A♠6♦6♠5♣. Sitbon had K♣5♦4♦4♠ for a straight, sending his opponent home.
Action was picked up on a flop of 4♠5♦K♣ with 16,000 in the middle. Small blind Arthur Morris checked it over to cutoff Jon Shoreman, who bet out for 12,000. Abteen “Uptown” Vaziri let go of his cards on the button, but Morris stuck around to see a turn.
When the 9♦ peeled off, Morris checked again, and this time Shoreman sized up to 49,000, leaving just over 10,000 behind. After just over a minute, Shoreman aggressively asked the dealer to call the clock, enough to make Vaziri on his left jump. Floor arrived, and the table agreed that Morris had not had sufficient time to act. Before the official clock started, Morris made the fold.
On a completed board of Q♠8♥3♠K♥9♥ and with roughly 130,000 already in the pot, Robert Cowen checked from the hijack and Joseph Sanders jammed for around 40,000 from the button.
Cowen was agonizing over the spot and whether he should call or fold. After deliberating over the two options for a few minutes, Cowen settled on a fold. Sanders returned his cards face down to the dealer as he pulled in the big pot.
