Zarco's Aggression Pays Off

Siddharth Shaw opened to 3,600 on the button and got called by Javier Zarco in the big blind to see a flop.

The flop came 889. Both players checked. Ont he turn 5, Zarco fired 7,500 which was enough to take the pot down.

Thiriart Wins Huge Pot With a Hero Call

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There were roughly 75,000 chips in the pot on Q58K5.

Jeremy Dan who was in the big blind shoved 64,000 into the middle, Arthur Thiriart who was in the hijack went deep into the tank, and the clock was called. Thiriart, with not long remaining, flicked in a chip to call, and Dan tabled a stone bluff with AJ.

Thiriart tabled AQ for second pair, and he scooped the pot.

Weissman Wins Multi-Way Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Alex Foxen opened to 2,000 and got two callers in the blinds Jiyang Gan in the small and Joey Weissman in the big.

The flop came 995 and both the blinds checked. Foxen continued with 1,700 and Gan called. Weissman raised to 6,000 which pushed both Foxen and Gan out of the pot

Zhengpeng Liu opened to 2,200 in cutoff and got a three-bet from the man on his left, Andrew Ostapchenko, to 5,000. Liu called.

The dealer flopped J55. After a check, Ostapchenko fired 3,500 which Liu called.

Liu check-called the turn K after Ostapchenko bet 10,000. Action slowed down when both players checked the river 8.

Liu showed AQ for ace-high and took the pot.

Aces Cracked

There were roughly 45,000 chips in the pot on 83Q104.

Pavel Plesuv was who in early position bet 35,000, Jimmy Kebe who was in the big blind announced all in for 71,000.

Plesuv went deep into the tank, and eventually called. Kebe tabled two pair with Q4, Plesuv tabled AA.

Kuether Out-Duels Cheong

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Joseph Kuether and Joseph Cheong were heads-up in a pot that had around 20,000 in the middle and the board reading AA92. Cheong was in the big blind and led out with a bet of 6,000 which Kuether called on the button.

The river was the K and Cheong slowed down with a check. Kuether dropped in a bet of 25,000 and Cheong wasted little time before sending his cards into the muck.

The preflop action was juicy.

Michael Stein opened with a raise to 2,000 from middle position. Dragos Trofimov reraised to 7,000 from the cutoff.

David Rogers four-bet jammed for less with 12,300 chips from the big blind.

Stein reraised to 40,000, which led to an all-in from Trofimov for his full stack.

Rogers decided to throw his remaining 35,500 chips into the pot.

The runout 5A356 didn't change the preflop positioning, as Trofimov's queens held, sending Rogers and Stein to the rail, where Rogers immediately bought back in.

Alqarqaz Rivers a Straight

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ayman Alqarqaz raised to 2,000 from under the gun and was called by Jiaming Zhao in the hijack. Yulian Bogdanov shipped all in for 11,000 on the button and was called by both Alqarqaz and Zhao.

The flop came Q52 and the action checked through to the 9 on the turn and the 8 on the river. Alqarqaz finally tossed in a bet of 5,000 and Zhao mucked his cards. Alqarqaz turned over J10 for a straight which was more than enough to eliminate Bogdanov who had AK.
