Much Drama About a Split Pot

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With some 19,000 in the middle to the K1039 turn, Benjamin Garrick checked and then called a bet worth 10,000 by Aliaksandr Shylko in the next seat. The 3 followed on the river and Garrick checked once more. Shylko checked it back this time and was shown the AK by Garrick, earning a chop with his AK.

"Clubs," Garrick vividly motioned while pointing to his cards.

The table also includes Ilan Boujenah and Denys Chufarin.

Easy Pickup for Lozier

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Gary Horn opened to 1,500 first to act and was called by Tony Dunst in early position and Jeffrey Lozier in the cutoff. Samuel Mullur then squeezed to 7,800 from the big blind, which got a call from Horn, a fold from Dunst, and a call from Lozier.

Action checked to Lozier, who bet 5,000 on the 98J flop. Mullur and Horn quickly folded and Lozier picked up a nice pot without resistance.

Lingham Shoves; Reinhold Sighs

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were over 5,000 on the flop on a flop that read 2J9 when Vinodan Lingham from early position clashed with Christopher Reinhold from the hijack. Lingham bet before Reinhold put out a re-raise to 15,000.

Lingham jammed for 27,600, which resulted in an animated heavy sigh from Reinhold. A distraught Reinhold gave it considerable thought before he made the call.

Vinodan Lingham: QQAll in
Christopher Reinhold: AJ

Reinhold's gut feeling was right, as despite having top pair top kicker, he was well behind the pocket queens of Lingham with two cards to go.

Reinhold called for an ace, but it never came on the 8 turn, and the 6 river resulted in a double-up for Lingham.

Borkowski Takes From Nofer

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With about 5,000 in the pot, Robert Borkowski checked from the small blind on the 2108 flop after the action had gone three-bet preflop. Paul Nofer bet 2,000 from the hijack, and Borkowski continued with a call.

The 7 turn checked through before the 10 completed the board. Borkowski led out for 6,000, which was enough to get Nofer to fold.

Baldwin Takes From Szerszen

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With 6,200 each invested preflop and the flop showing KJ4, Bobby Baldwin checked and Czeslaw Szerszen then bet 6,000. Baldwin check-raised to 15,000 and his opponent reluctantly folded.

"Show the bluff," another player at the table demanded.

Rafi Elharar then repeated, "show the bluff for PokerNews," before he added that Baldwin had previously shown a bluff for the ESPN film crew.

Martin Kabrhel Wins Sixth WSOP Bracelet While Multi-Tabling Three Events

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel has won his sixth World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in WSOP Online Event #20: $3,200 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller for $195,195, but perhaps even more remarkable than the result itself is that he managed to do it while simultaneously in the money in three separate WSOP events.

The rumbunctious Czech high roller entered Thursday still alive across three different tournaments, having been spotted running between the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas over the past day or so trying to keep all his runs going at once.

And he managed to make it work in this one, navigating his way through the 338-runner field to the title and defeating Krista "Pollux" Gifford heads-up for bracelet number six.

"Deuces Never Loses"

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Eric Cloutier
Eric Cloutier

Jans Arends opened to 1,300 and Maksim Paniak, who was sitting to his direct left called. Eric Cloutier moved all in for his last 10,600 and action folded around to Arends who mucked his hand. Paniak made the call and the players flipped their hands and headed to showdown.

Eric Cloutier: 22All in
Maksim Paniak: QJ

The 5K7 flop saw Paniak pick up a flush draw, but Cloutier was still ahead with his pocket deuces.

A 10 turn also brought Paniak in some more outs with the straight draw, but he missed on the K river, leaving Cloutier to get a full double up.

After the hand Cloutier was talking to his opponents at the table about the hand, thanked the dealer and remarked "Deuces never loses!"

Mason Takes More from Park

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Christopher Mason raised to 1,400 in middle position, which Andy Park called, tempting the big blind to come along too.

When the action checked to Mason on a 553 flop, he bet. Park called and the big blind folded.

Mason fired again on the 3 turn, this time for 5,500, which Park called before the A river checked through.

Mason tabled QQ, and Park had a little hand funeral before returning his cards to the dealer.

James Ends it on Turn

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Jamie Dwan opened to 1,400 from the cutoff before Jana Pavini called on the button. Robert James defended his big blind to create a three-handed pot.

James checked the 25Q flop before Dwan continued for 2,000. Pavini folded, but James chose to check-raise to 4,100 in response.

Dwan called and sent them to the 10 turn. James put out another bet to the tune of 3,500. Dwan bowed out with a fold to award the pot to James.

Chambers Catches an Ace to Leave Koon Short

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Zdenek Zizka raised to 1,400 on the button and was called by Judah Chambers in the small blind. Jason Koon squeezed to 5,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Zizka and a called from Chambers.

Chambers check-called a 3,500 bet from Koon on the 335 flop and a 3,000 bet from Koon on the A turn after a lengthy tank.

Both players checked on the 4 river and Koon revealed QQ.

Chambers turned over A9 for aces-up and was sent the pot, leaving Koon with just 8,500 to work with.
