Menard check-called before Thiriart check-folded.

The 5 turn saw Ruben size up to 4,800. Menard check-called again, and he checked for a third time on the 8 river. Ruben tossed in a bet of 9,100, which Menard called after some time in the tank.

Ruben tabled K7 for flopped two pair, and Menard quickly added his cards to the muck in defeat.

Wick with Walking Sticks

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Fabian Rolli opened to 1,800 from early position before Corey Wick called from the next seat over. John Andrews joined the party from the small blind as the three took a flop.

All three players passed on the K8Q flop and the 4 turn to bring the 4 river.

Andrews opted to bet 5,500, which led to a fold from Rolli. Wick gave it some thought before he put one chip out to signal a call.

Wick made the correct decision as Andrews showed A10 for ace high. Wick tabled 77 for two pair to claim the pot.

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

The 10 paired the board on the river and both players checked.

Negreanu revealed A10 for a runner-runner full house and Loucas sent his cards into the muck.

Ladies Help Devereux Add to His Stack

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

With about 18,000 in the pot on the 8J10 flop, David Stamm led out for 3,500 from the small blind, and Gareth Devereux called from middle position.

After both players checked the 2 turn, the 4 completed the board. Stamm bet 8,000, which Devereux quickly called.

Stamm tabled K10 for second pair, but it was no good against Devereux's QQ for an overpair.

Wechter Picks Up Aces to Double Off Gruber

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

In a three-bet pot, Samuel Gruber bet 5,000 from the big blind on a flop of 863 and Gabriel Wechter raised to 13,000 on the button. Gruber called.

Wechter then bet 39,000 on the 5 turn, leaving only a few chips behind, and Gruber then moved all in. Wechter called and turned over AA.

"That's the one I was afraid of. I thought you would four-bet kings or queens," Gruber said as he showed JJ. The river was the 9 and Wechter doubled up.

Tran Punishes the Limpers

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Seeing four limps ahead of him, JC Tran raised to 5,500 in the big blind. The original limper, Curtis Cavazos, called from under the gun, and Gregory Benac called in the cutoff before the button and small blind folded.

Tran continued to bet on the 10Q8 flop, putting 6,500 into the pot. Cavazos folded, but Benac stuck around.

The 3 turn did nothing to slow Tran down, as he barreled with a 16,000 bet. This time Benac ceded and returned his cards to the dealer.
