Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Ryan Riess was seen shipping his last 340,000 into a pot of 375,000 from the big blind. The board had been dealt up until the turn and read 6KJ10. Jeremy Hyman on the button tanked for several minutes before he called to put Riess at risk.

Ryan Riess: 66 All in
Jeremy Hyman: K8

Hyman's top pair had no outs remaining against Riess' set, and the 10 river upgraded the 2013 Main Event champion to a full house, doubling him up in style.

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Phong Nguyen raised to 40,000 from under the gun to see Ryan Leng in the hijack, Lucas Bandeira on the button, Raul Reyna in the small blind, and Antonios Onoufriou in the big blind all call.

The flop rolled out 987, and action checked around to Nguyen, who bet 105,000 to see Leng move all in for 215,000. Bandeira raised to 400,000 to see Reyna and Onoufriou quickly fold while Nguyen went into the tank.

"How do I fold this?" lamented Nguyen as he pondered his decision. After some more thought and muttering, he tossed away his hand.

Ryan Leng: 98 All in
Lucas Bandeira: J10

Leng's two pair was behind Bandeira's flopped straight, but the turn 8 saw Leng exhale a sigh of relief as he filled up to improve against the straight. The river 4 was a mere formality, and the three-time WSOP bracelet winner survived.

Ensan Bluffs Into Big Slick

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Chi Chen raised his button to 40,000, and Hossein Ensan defended his big blind. Chen continued for 35,000 on the A106 flop, but Ensan check-raised to 100,000.

Chen called, and he continued calling when Ensan bet 280,000 on the 9 turn and 275,000 on the 3 river.

Ensan could only table 65 at showdown, but his pair of sixes was outclassed by Chen's AK, who took down the sizable pot with top pair.

Macdonald Takes a Large Chunk off Brown's Stack

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 62J, Thomas Macdonald checked from the small blind and Jeremy Brown bet 25,000 on the button. Macdonald then check-raised to 100,000 and, undeterred, Brown made it 230,000 to go. Macdonald called.

Both players checked on the 9 turn and Macdonald checked a final time after the Q completed the board. Brown cut out a bet of 350,000 and placed it into the middle, but was met with a prompt shove from Macdonald for about 725,000 total.

Brown let his hand go after a bit of thought and Macdonald took down the large pot without a showdown.
