2026 World Series of Poker
Vijay Yadav moved all in with his last 1,900,000 from the cutoff. Neal Anderson, who had slightly more than that, did likewise from the small blind.
Table chip leader Alex Ferrari made the call looking for a double knockout.
Vijay Yadav: K♣7♥
Neal Anderson: 2♦2♥
Alex Ferrari: A♦5♦
Anderson's deuces held on the flop, but were overtaken by Ferrari on the turn and Yadav on the river in a runout of 3♠J♣10♠5♥K♦.
It was a small dent for Ferrari, but Yadav left with three times the stack with which he began the hand.
Jamie Madon, Sung Choi, and Jacob Frediani take home an extra $25,000 for their efforts.
Jiancheng Han pulled the last $50,000 bounty, meaning only two more Gold Chests are on offer, each with $25,000 in them.
A player opened under the to 600,000, Nitis Udornpim on his direct left three-bet to 1,800,000, Peter Li on the button four-bet shoved for 4,700,000, the player under the gun folded and Udornpim called.
Peter Li: A♣K♠
Nitis Udornpim: A♠K♣
The flop came 3♥4♣9♣, the 6♣ turn gave Li an opportunity to scoop the pot, and Udornpim was clearly distressed as the 5♣ was dealt on the river giving Li an Ace-high flush.
Following a Philip Chun under-the-gun open, Damion Norton jammed his remaining 2,600,000. Chun called and flipped over big slick.
Damion Norton: Q♥Q♦
Philip Chun: A♠K♣
Norton's ladies couldn't hold up against Chun's flopped ace, with the A♦J♦7♣5♣6♦ board sending him to the payouts desk.
Jason Machtinger was the first all-in from middle position with 1,200,000 chips. Jorge Dominguez came over the top with 3,450,000 from the seat next to him.
Brownie Garrett, who had the biggest stack, made the call from the small blind before Wayne Leonard folded.
Jason Machtinger: A♥10♥
Jorge Dominguez: A♣6♣
Brownie Garrett: A♠Q♥
Dominguez started from behind but jumped to the front in the three-ace race, with the flop 7♣5♣8♥ giving him a flush draw as well as open-ended straight draw.
It didn't take long to come home, as the J♣ on the turn locked up the hand, rendering the K♠ river meaningless.
