Duveau Dominates in Three-way All-In to Bust Jiang

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Julien Duveau opened to 100,000 from under the gun and saw Yuchen Jiang move all in for his remaining 685,000 from the cutoff. Honghao Zhang folded on the button and Cherish Andrews jammed from the big blind, covering Duveau's remaining stack, and he called, putting himself at risk for 925,000.

Julien Duveau: KKAll in
Cherish Andrews: 1010

As the cards were turned over, Honghao Zhang announced "Sorry, I folded Ace-Jack", confirming that he had some of Jiang's outs.

Duveau was ahead, and things stayed that way after seeing the K6Q flop. It brought in some straight draw outs for Jiang, who was still looking to hit to stay alive.

The turn came the 5, which didn't change the standings and neither did the 3 river, sending Jiang to the rail.

Harris Spikes a Double to Leave Ahuja Short; Busts Next Hand

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ankit Ahuja
Ankit Ahuja

Ankit Ahuja raised to 80,000 from under the gun only to face a three-bet from Gabriel Harris on the button to 560,000 all in. Action folded to Michel Molenaar in the big blind who four-bet to 1,200,000 which was enough to put Ahuja all in. Ahuja went into the tank and made the call.

Gabriel Harris: KJ All in
Ankit Ahuja: 1010 All in
Michel Molenaar: 99

No help for Harris on the 482 flop but when the K peeled off on the turn he stormed into the lead. No nine or ten for Ahuja or Molenaar on the A river and Harris scooped the main pot for a treble up with Ahuja claiming the bowl of rice side pot and being left on fumes.

The very next hand Tjan Tepeh made it 80,000 to play from under the gun and action folded to Ahuja who made the call from the big blind.

On the 64Q flop Ahuja moved all in for his last 140,000 and Tepeh snap-called.

Ankit Ahuja: A8 All in
Tjan Tepeh: AQ

No miracles for Ahuja on the 5 turn or 9 river and he was sent to the rail.

Xiao Ups the Aggression

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Shundan Xiao
Shundan Xiao

After building back up her stack, Shundan Xiao has been seen frequently playing a number of pots and collecting chips without getting to showdown.

In a recent hand, Shundan Xiao opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and saw a single call from Harlan Karnofsky in the big blind.

The 82J flop saw Karnofsky check-call a 50,000 bet by Xiao, to see the K turn. Xiao bet out 250,000 after seeing Karnofsky check again, taking down another pot from her opponent and climbing back up to over a million in chips.

Hunichen Ends Roldan's Ride

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

There was 24 players remaining when Juan Roldan opened to 250,000 from the hijack, leaving himself a single 5,000 chip behind. Chris Hunichen called on the button and no further players jumped into the action.

The 255 flop saw Roldan check and Hunichen bet 5,000. There was some discussion at the table given players were on a pay jump and Roldan was taking some time to make his decision. He moved his final chip into the pot and turned over his ace-three off suit.

Juan Roldan: A3All in
Chris Hunichen: A7

He was up against Hunichen's ace-seven, and needed to improve to stay alive. The 3 turn was one step towards saving Roldan, but the A river saw Hunichen take the pot as the fives on the board played with his seven kicker.

Aggression Wins Karnofsky the Pot

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Harlan Karnofsky
Harlan Karnofsky

Srivinay Irrinki made it 90,000 to play from the hijack and found calls from Harlan Karnofsky in the cutoff and Shundan Xiao in the big blind.

On the 456 flop Xiao led out for 80,000 and Irrinki flat-called. Karnofsky pumped it up to 300,000 which found a quick fold from Xiao but sent Irrinki into the tank for a short while before he made the call.

Irrinki checked to Karnofsky on the 4 turn who fired out a second bullet of 300,000 which again sent Irrinki into the tank. He took a bit longer this time before he released his hand to send the pot to Karnofsky uncontested.

Zhang Defends His Blind

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Thai Dinh raised from the button to 80,000, and Honghao Zhang defended from the big blind. That was the most exciting part of this hand.

The board came down with 10J497, and both players checked all the way through. This stage of the tournament is about both preserving and building your stack. Zhang showed 105 for a pair of tens, and Dinh mucked.
