Lee Rough opened the action with a call from middle position. Matthew Schreiber potted to 12,000 from the small blind, and Kristy Adams did the same from the big, to the tune of 39,000. Rough got out of the way, and Schreiber made the call leaving himself little behind. He then shoved on a 3♣K♠2♦ flop and got snapped off by Adams.
Matthew Schreiber: A♠K♣10♦2♠
Kristy Adams: A♦A♥10♥5♣
Schreiber had managed to take the lead with two pair, but the 7♠ turn gave Adams both a low, and a freeroll. Despite having few outs, she drilled the 3♦ on the river to counterfeit her opponents two pair and send him home.
Big O
Action was picked up on a flop of 2♠Q♠7♥ with Paul Vang all in for his final 52,000, at risk against Gary Gwinn.
Paul Vang: A♠10♠10♦5♦2♥
Gary Gwinn: A♦Q♥8♦3♥3♠
The 6♦8♥ runout left Gwinn with two pair and the nut low to scoop the pot and send Vang packing.
Big O
Takashi Sugo raised to 7,000 from early position and called the three bet in the big blind to 21,000 from Ray Henson.
The flop rolled out Q♠5♦2♣ and Henson bet 25,000 to see Sugo call.
On the turn 9♣, Henson bet the pot to see Sugo call to put himself at risk for 69,000 effective and Sugo called.
Takashi Sugo: A♣7♥7♦3♣2♠
Ray Henson: A♠A♦6♦4♦3♥
A 6♥ peeled off on the river to give both players the nut low, but it was Henson's six-high straight that was good for the high and he was awarded three quarters of the pot.
Big O
Sergio Benso raised to 8,000 from the cutoff. David Lovell called on the button. Samuel Del Castillo Guerra potted it from the small blind.
After Benso reloaded, Lovell called, and Guerra was all-in for 69,000.
Samuel Del Castillo Guerra: A♥K♥8♥8♣2♦
Sergio Benso: A♦Q♦J♦J♥2♠
The runout of 9♣Q♥8♦8♠A♣ was rather kind to Guerra, as the turn gave him quad eights and eliminated the possibility of a low.
Omaha Hi-Lo
Action was picked up on a flop of 6♦2♣6♥ where big blind Seth Frederici bet out into two opponents. Under-the-gun player Chris Lee called before Tony Cousineau, on his direct left, raised. Frederici called, Lee then three-bet, Cousineau four-bet, and both players called.
On the turn 4♥, Frederici checked, Lee bet, and Cousineau jokingly announced "raise," moving all in for his last 3,000. Frederici called to see the 8♣ river. He checked again, Lee bet, and Frederici sigh-called.
Frederici showed Q♦7♣6♠5♣ for a straight and a seven-low, and Lee showed A♠A♥6♣3♣ for trips and nut low, as the two chopped the side pot. Cousineau, however, had the last laugh as he turned over A♦3♠2♠2♦ for a boat and nut low, to three-quarter Lee and leave Frederici in last place.
Omaha Hi-Lo
Action was picked up on the flop with three bets put in by each player between Todd Dreyer in the big blind, Kevin Kennedy in late position, and Allan Le on the button.
The flop rolled out Q♥4♥2♥ and Dreyer had already bet his last 3,000 in the dark to see Kennedy raise to a full bet. Le raised and cerated a side pot in the process and Kennedy called.
On the turn 9♣, Kennedy check-called a bet from Le to see action repeat identically on the river 5♦.
Todd Dreyer: Q♣7♦5♣2♠
Kevin Kennedy: A♦A♣K♥6♣
Allan Le: A♥10♠3♠2♣
Le's wheel was good to scoop the pot and eliminate Dreyer from the tournament. Kevin Kennedy was eliminated from the tournament shortly after.
Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo
Tony Diehl raised form middle position and Stefan Hanania made the call for al of his 18,000 chips.
Stefan Hanania: A♥A♦Q♥J♣
Tony Diehl: A♣Q♦5♥3♣
The river in a runout of K♣6♠4♣9♦9♣ gave Diehl a flush and the win.
Omaha Hi-Lo
Mark Erickson raised from middle position, and Christopher Kennedy called on the button. The blinds got out of the way.
On a flop of 8♦K♣7♣ Erickson checked-called Kennedy's bet, and the same was true on the 10♠ turn. Erickson checked for a third time on the 10♣ river, and Kennedy bet, which folded out his opponent.
Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo
Thida Lin was absent from their seat, so the big blind in this hand was dead. Erick Lindgren potted to 10,500 on the button, and in the small blind, Justin Liberto repotted to 34,500. Lindgren called.
The flop rolled out 9♣6♠2♥, and Liberto moved all in for 50,000 effective to see Lindgren call.
Erick Lindgren: A♥10♠3♠3♥
Justin Liberto: A♠K♠10♣6♣
Liberto's pair of sixes were ahead on the flop, but Lindgren picked up a myriad of outs on the turn 9♥ on top of his already existing flush draw outs. On the river 3♦, Lindgren filled up to scoop and take a sizable pot away from the other WSOP bracelet winner.
