Big O
Action was picked up on a flop of K♥10♠Q♥ with early position raiser Artyom Smbatyan and button Robert Redman heads-up. Smbatyan had check-shoved 93,000 over Redman's 20,000 bet, sending him deep into the tank. Eventually, he made the call for almost all his chips, and saw the bad news.
Artyom Smbatyan: A♠J♠J♣7♣5♥
Robert Redman: A♦10♦10♣9♣6♠
Smbatyan had flopped Broadway, and Redman needed the board to pair. However, he got there in another way. The A♥ turn and J♥ river gave Redman Broadway as well, so they chopped the pot.
Smbatyan expressed his frustration over not having scooped.
Big O
Benjamin Miner raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and Brandon Shack-Harris called in the big blind.
The flop rolled out A♣K♣10♣ and Shack-Harris bet 11,000 to see Miner call.
On the turn 7♥, Shack-Harris moved all in for 43,000 effective and Miner called after some thought.
Benjamin Miner: A♠K♥Q♥4♠3♥
Brandon Shack-Harris: K♦J♣10♦3♣2♠
Nothing changed on the river Q♠ and the flopped flush was good for the WSOP bracelet winner to take down the pot.
Big O
Ilia Krupin and Marcelo V.R. Costa reraised each other until all of Costa's 160,000 chips were in preflop.
Marcelo V.R. Costa: A♠K♥10♥3♠2♠
Ilia Krupin: A♦9♦7♥5♦4♣
The runout of 8♥3♥6♠2♥9♣ the two took their bets back, as Costa survived with the king-high flush and Krupin took half the pot with the nut low.
Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo
Derek McMaster called from under the gun, and Brian Yoon raised pot from the button to 24,000. Action folded back to McMaster, who ripped it for 36,000 total, and Yoon called to put himself at risk.
Brian Yoon: A♠J♠J♦4♥
Derek McMaster: A♥J♣8♥4♣
The board ran out K♥9♣3♥10♣3♣, and the jack-high flush was good for McMaster to eliminate the five-time WSOP bracelet winner from the tournament.
Omaha Hi-Lo
Chip Jett figured his exit was imminent, but it took longer than he imagined.
He jumped all in with 6,000 chips, less than the big blind, against two players and came out of it with 11,000. Michael Amato was knocked out in that hand by Seth Frederici.
In the next hand, Jett fired his shot again; this time, Tony Cousineau was sent to the rail by Robert Mizrachi, and Jett's stack grew to 33,000.
The third time was a lot less charming than the previous two. Jett got it all in preflop against Ken Aldridge.
Chip Jett: 10♦10♥4♦2♥
Ken Aldridge: A♥K♥6♦4♣
The runout of K♦5♦7♥J♥3♠ gave Aldridge a better low and a straight for the high.
Big O
James Gladwell opened to 10,000 from early position, and Shawn Daniels moved all in for that exact amount from the cutoff. Thomas Taylor called on the button, as did Matthew Hine from the big blind.
On a flop of 9♣Q♠6♣, Gladwell checked, and Taylor shoved for 37,000. Only Gladwell made the call.
Shawn Daniels: A♠8♦7♣6♦2♠
Thomas Taylor: K♣K♠J♦9♠8♣
James Gladwell: A♣Q♣5♥4♠2♦
Gladwell and Taylor had both flopped massive, with Daniels drawing thin. The 8♥ turn gave Taylor two pair, and he improved to a better one on the J♥ river, as his jacks and nines sent the pot his way.
Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo
With a board reading 8♦5♦4♣, action was picked up with Michael Krasienko all in and at risk for his last 87,000 in the hijack against Ray Fishman on the button.
Michael Krasienko: A♠K♦K♠2♠
Ray Fishman: A♥Q♦7♣2♥
Nothing changed on the runout of 8♣10♦, and the kings-up were good for Krasienko to take down the high, while both of them shared the same nut low.
