Yarbrough Takes From Cantu

Level 24

Omaha Hi-Lo

David Yarbrough raised in the cutoff and in the small blind, Brandon Cantu three-bet to see Yarbrough call.

The flop rolled out A75 and Cantu continued to see Yarbrough call again.

Action checked down on the runout of 24 and Yarbrough turned over AJ92 for aces and twos with a seven low.

Cantu vented his frustration through a grunt and tossed his hand into the muck as he and Yarbrough swapped stacks on the leaderboard.

Rough's Getting Rougher

Level 23

In less than a rotation around the table, Lee Rough went from declaring he was just trying to survive, and saying that it ain't over 'til it's over, to buying chips from other players in preparation for the color-up at the end of the level.

"It's insane," Rough said. "We're talking 15 minutes."

At one point, Rough was down to less than 100,000 chips. He was up to 2,320,000 as the clock ran down on Level 23.

Rough Quarters Guagenti and Scoops Lee

Level 23

Big O

Chris Lee raised to 50,000 from under the gun to see Lee Rough call in the hijack and Nick Guagenti call in the small blind.

The flop rolled out AJ2 and all three of the players got in their chip stacks, with Guagenti all in for 530,000, Rough all in for 1,036,000, and Lee holding the covering stack.

Nick Guagenti: A5432 All in
Lee Rough: K10432 All in
Chris Lee: AA1086

Rough and Guagenti made their wheel on the 5 turn and the 7 river gave Rough the nut flush to scoop the massive side between himself and Lee.

Rough now sits as the overall leader after being down to just 70,000 an orbit prior.

Deck Doubles

Level 23

Big O

Woody Deck opened to 55,000 under the gun, and received calls from both players to his direct left: Jonathan Wirjo and Edward Spivack. The three saw a flop of 89K and Deck shoved 90,000 when checked to. Wirjo got out of the way instantly, but Spivack wasn't so quick to fold. Eventually, he put in the call.

Woody Deck: AKK95All in
Edward Spivack: AQ322

Deck's top set improved to a boat on the 69 runout, which secured him a full double and then some.

Balas Scoops Tot to Ascend

Level 23

Omaha Hi-Lo

Action was picked up in a four-bet pot between four players, including Dekel Balas in the small blind, Vadim Shlez in first position, Brad Ruben in the hijack, and Oliver Tot on the button.

The flop rolled to Q75 and Balas checked over to Shlez, who bet to see all three of his opponents call, Tot calling all in for 13,000.

On the 4 turn, Balas checked over to Shlez a second time, who bet, and both Ruben and Balas called.

Balas lead out on the 3 river to get two quick folds.

Oliver Tot: KK52 All in
Dekel Balas: AA62

Tot's kings and live deuce were no good against Balas' wheel and he raked in the pot to climb into the chip lead.

Hausen to the House

Level 23

Big O

Tobias Hausen started the action with a raise under the gun. Gregory Wood popped it to 110,000.

After Michael Banducci made the call from the button, Hausen put in his final 9,000. Wood and Banducci called.

After the flop hit 458, Wood bet the pot for 396,000. Banducci folded.

Tobias Hausen: AKJ75All in
Gregory Wood: AA764

Wood had flopped a straight, and it held up on the turn and river 43 for the high, and his seven-low was better than Hausen's eight, giving him the scoop.
