The remaining 8 players are on a 60-minute dinner break. Play will resume at approximately 7:51 p.m. local time.
Antonio Vargas opened for 500,000 and got called by Scott Horvath in the big blind. The flop came 6♦2♠7♦.
On the 7♠ turn, Horvath check-called Vargas continuation bet of 650,000 to see more of the community cards. Relentless, Vargas added more 1,425,000 chips to the growing pot after the action passed to him. Yet again, Horvath made the call.
Finally, Horvath led out with 1,525,000 which evoked a groan from Vargas. He called prompting Horvath to show 5♥Q♣. Vargas tabled J♥7♣ for turned trips.
Yannick Capocetti raised to 1,300,000 for most of his stack and Kartik Ved three-bet jammed from the next seat. Capocetti called when the action got back around to put himself at risk.
Yannick Capocetti: A♠4♠
Kartik Ved: A♦J♦
Capocetti was dominated and got no help from the runout of 10♥10♣9♠J♥7♠ to be sent to the payout counter in ninth place for $38,258.
Kai Cohen opened to 480,000 and got a three-bet from Antonio Vargas, who made it 1,350,000. Cohen went beyond and four-bet 2,900,000, sending Vargas to the tank. He counted his chips and made the call to see the flop.
The flop came 3♦8♣8♦. Cohen kept the pressure high with a 2,300,000 bet. Vargas, cautious, still hung on to see another card.
Both players checked the 9♣ turn but on the river 3♠, Cohen took time to consider his option before pushing 7,550,000 chips leaving behind 50,000. Covering his face, he waited for Vargas to make his action, who started cracking his knuckles.
"Maybe we have the same hand," said Vargas as he mulled over his options. After some time, he folded his hand and asked for Cohen to show but was denied.
Antonio Vargas opened from early position and Donovan Dicken three-bet for most of his stack after losing a hefty pot to Scott Horvath the previous hand. Vargas then four-bet jammed and Dicken called to be at risk.
Donovan Dicken: 6♦6♥
Antonio Vargas: A♦3♦
The board ran out 2♣2♥3♥3♣K♣ as Vargas turned a full house to send Dicken out in tenth place on the official final table bubble.
Shawn Daniels opened to 400,000 in middle position and got one caller in the button Michael Plesa. Both players went to the flop which came Q♦8♦9♥
Daniels check-called Plesa's 400,000 taking them to the next street.
On the 7♠ turn, Daniels continued to tag along after Plesa fired another 1,000,000. Action slowed down when both players checked the 9♠ river.
Daniels showed K♠Q♣ prompting Plesa to muck his hand.

Cohen checked once more on the 2♦ river and Vargas overbet for 2,800,000. Cohen then check-raised to 6,600,000 to bring a fold from his opponent.
In the small blind, Malcolm Franchi completed but Antonio Vargas defended by raising to 700,000. Franchi stared Vargas down and called to see the flop.
Despite Franchi's intense stare, Vargas continued with 500,000 after action was passed to him on the 2♠J♦8♦ flop. Franchi called once again without taking his eyes off Vargas.
Vargas, unfazed, continued the pressure with 2,300,000 after a third check on the Q♦ turn. Finally, Franchi looked away and threw his hand to the muck pile.
