Ivan Deyra in the big blind was all-in and at risk for 86,000 against Michael Newman in the small blind.
Ivan Deyra: K♥K♣
Michael Newman: J♠7♠
Deyra managed to find kings at the right moment and secured a double up on 8♦10♣A♣6♠5♣.
Jonathan Tamayo is among those to have recently been eliminated from the event since the break.
With just 66 players remaining, the pay jumps steepen, with the next few players guaranteed to take home at lease $4,986.
Jason Raber opened to 20,000 from middle position and Kanishka Reddy called from the small blind.
The pair saw a 10♣Q♣8♥ flop and Reddy checked. Raber moved all in for around 245,000 to cover Reddy's remaining 94,000 and Reddy went into the tank. There were 72 players left and there was a $369 pay jump for 71st place, so once Reddy heard another dealer say "Payout", he made the call.
Kanishka Reddy: J♦K♠
Jason Raber: K♥K♦
Reddy was looking at an open-ended straight draw, but was still behind against Raber's kings.
A 10♠ turn and 10♥ river didn't change the standings, and he hit the rail having made the pay jump.
Hannes Van Wauwe raised to 93,000 from middle position. Adrian Gouveia in the small blind moved all-in with a bigger stack, and Van Wauwe went into the tank, waiting for the next pay jump. He eventually called off his last 5,000.
Hannes Van Wauwe: K♦9♦
Adrian Gouveia: A♠A♥
Van Wauwe flopped a straight flush draw on J♦2♠Q♦, but the 4♠ turn and the 4♥ river didn't complete any flush or straight so he was eliminated.
"I'm trying to be nice and the poker gods are laughing at us," Gouveia joked as he was scooping the pot.
Down to 22,000, Joshua Faris jammed from early position and was called by Ioannis Kapnopoulos in middle position.
Joshua Faris: 8♥8♦
Ioannis Kapnopoulos: A♣K♥
Faris won the flip on 5♦2♥7♠9♦5♠ and doubled up.
The cards were already on their backs with Shiina Okamoto sitting under the gun. Okamoto covered Stanton Tentnowski who was all in and at risk from the cutoff for his remaining ~100,000.
Stanton Tentnowski: K♥Q♠
Shiina Okamoto: 9♦9♠
Okamoto's nines were good enough to take the pot and eliminate Tentnowski from the event just a few hands after the first break of the day.
Michael Nia opened from under the gun to 22,000 and Joshua Faris moved all in for his remaining 70,000 on the button. It didn't take long for Nia to call, and the players went heads-up to showdown.
Joshua Faris: J♦9♦
Michael Nia: A♥10♥
Faris flopped a pair of nines, and immediately improved. He held on the 9♣3♥5♦Q♦7♠ runout to remain in his seat.
