Hall Gets Two Passes

Level 7 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jason Koon opened to 20,000 on the button and was called by Galen Hall in the small blind and Batmunkh Unubukh in the big blind.

Action checked to Koon, who continued for 18,000 on the 7JQ flop. Both Hall and Unubukh called.

Everyone checked on the 8 turn and then Hall fired 160,000 into the middle after the 5 completed the board. Both Unubukh and Koon quickly folded and Hall was sent the pot.

With roughly 850,000 already in the middle, the action was on Chang Lee in the small blind, who was looking at a 75789 board. He elected to move all in, covering the stack of player Brandon Wilson, who looked back at his cards quickly, and then called.

Lee tabled QQ, but it was no good, as Wilson flipped over J10 for a turned flush.

"If I'd checked and you'd gone all in, I would have called anyway", Lee shared with Wilson, as Wilson pulled in a pile of chips.

Lingham Falls To Badziakouski

Level 7 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sergio Aido raised from first position to 20,000 and Vinny Lingham called in early position. In the big blind, Mikita Badziakouski three-bet to 100,000 and Aido called, which saw Lingham move all in for 210,000. After some confusion about how long each player had to make their decision preflop, Badziakouski raised to 330,000 and Lingham folded.

Mikita Badziakouski: AK

The board ran out K74510 and the ace-kicker worked for Badziakouski to take down the pot.

Unubukh is Back

Level 7 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ignacio Moron opened to 20,000 from middle position and was called by Santhosh Suvarna in the hijack and Galen Hall on the button. Batmunkh Unubukh then moved all in for approximately 140,000 from the small blind, which got a call from Moron and folds from Suvarna and Hall.

Ignacio Moron: 44

It was a race for Unubukh's tournament life, which looked bleak on the 679 flop. However, the AA turn and river improved Unubukh to trips to award him the double up.

"I'm back!" Unubukh said as he collected the pot.

Ponakovs Bombs the River

Level 7 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With roughly 75,000 in the middle and a 3210 flop on the felt, Chang Lee and Anatoly Zlotnikov checked from the big blind and under the gun, and the action was on Aleksejs Ponakovs, who bet 25,000, receiving two calls.

On the 10 turn, Lee led out for 75,000, which removed Zlotnikov from the equation, but Ponakovs called.

The J completed the board, and this time, Lee reverted to checking. Ponakovs loaded up a chunky 325,000 and slid it into the middle. That was enough to win the pot, as Lee folded.

Miscounted But Doubled Nonetheless

Level 7 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sam Soverel opened to 20,000 on the button, and when the small blind got out of the way, Ren Lin slid a stack of chips into the middle, covering Soverel's stack.

Soverel took his time in making a decision, utilising two time extensions while letting Lin know that he actually thought he had 260,000 in his stack, not 160,000. Ultimately, he opted to call.

Sam Soverel: A5 All in
Ren Lin: 33

The 85Q flop fired Soverel into the lead, and he stayed there, earning a double up, when the 8 turn and 6 river completed the board.
