Players are headed on a 15-minute break. 163 players will return to blinds of 3,000/6,000/6,0000
Action was picked up with two players engaged in an an all-in showdown.
Eric Thompkins: J♣J♥
Michael Stembera: A♦3♦
Thompkins caught a set on the J♠6♦10♦ flop, but it gave Stembera more outs with a flush draw.
While the 5♣ turn was a brick, the river J♦ completed Stembera's flush, but it also gave Thompkin's quads to secure him a much-needed boost in chips.
Jason Langianese limped from the small blind, and Glyn Griffis checked. The flop was Q♥9♥8♦, and Langianese checked, while Griffis bet 10,000. Langianese called to see the turn.
Both players checked the turn 10♦, and the river K♥. Langianese mucked after Griffis showed Q♦3♦ for a pair of queens,
Marcel Luske raised from late position to 15,000, and Dai Tran moved all in from the cutoff to 45,000. Everyone else folded, and Luske called.
Dai Tran: A♣K♣
Marcel Luske: K♥K♦
The board did not save Tran with 8♥2♦Q♥6♥2♥, and two pair won the pot for Luske.
Stan Sinclair in the big blind and Jerick Rickert under the gun had already built a 90,000 pot beside a 9♥8♣8♦ flop.
The dealer peeled a 2♦ turn. Sinclair fired 40,000 and Rickert hung on to see the last card.
The Q♦ river fell and Sinclair added 70,000 into the pot. Rickert raised all-in for around 250,000 and Sinclair snap-called.
Sinclair showed J♦9♦ for a rivered flush but groaned in frustration when Rickert turned over Q♥8♥ for a full house.
Sinclair left the table as Rickert scooped the pot towards his direction,
Ruslan Prydryk raised to 12,000 from the hijack and Gary Benson made the call from the small blind. Jason Langianese sat in the big blind then three-bet to 40,000.
Prydryk went into the tank for a short while before he moved all in for 156,000. Benson thought for a while and mucked his hand whilst Langianese snap-called.
Ruslan Prydryk: 8♦8♥
Jason Langianese: A♥A♣
No help for Prydryk on the 2♠7♥6♠ flop and when the A♠ peeled off on the turn he was drawing dead. The A♦ on the river was a bit of overkill and gave Langianese quads whilst sending Prydryk to the rail
Tuan Phan in the big blind and Timothy Little on the button had already grown a pot worth 55,000 sitting beside a A♦K♣5♣ flop.
The dealer peeled a J♥ turn and Phan shoved all-in for 104,000 sending Little to the tank. Little picked out the chips and continued to mull things over. After a few seconds he made the call.
Tuan Phan: J♣7♣
Timothy Little: A♣Q♥
Little looked quite satisfied to see that he ahd top pair. But the river 7♠ fell giving Phan a two-pair and a double up.
Level: 14
Blinds: 3,000/5,000
Ante: 5,000
Raymond Kondler raised from the button to 8,000, and Hans Bosman defended from the big blind. The flop was 7♦8♥5♣, and both players checked.
On the turn 9♠, Bosman checked, while Kondler took a stab and bet 6,000. Bosman called.
Both players checked the river 10♣, and Bosman turned over K♣8♣, Kondler flipped over Q♦9♦. Kondler held the better pair for the win.
