Benson Doubles Through Lopez

Action was heads up to the turn on a 6QQ10 board with 70,000 sat in the middle.

Mario Lopez bet out from the hijack for 14,000 and Gary Benson, on the button, made the call.

The river brought the J and Lopez bet out for 124,000 which was enough to put Benson all in. Benson thought for a while and made the call tabling 1010 for a turned full house which had Lopez's A9 for total air crushed

Markholt Doubles Through Steinberg

Action was picked up with Lee Markholt and Lance Steinberg, their chips and hands going in on a flop of 65J and a pot of around 30,000.

Steinberg had top pair on the flop but Markholt caught a two-pair. The dealer completed the board with a 9 turn and 3 river, giving Steinberg no help to improve and giving Markholt a double up

Munk Puts Juanda Through the Blender

John Juanda raised to 12,000 from under the gun and was looked up by Christian Munk in the hijack and Matthew Salsberg in the big blind.

On the 1085 flop Salsberg checked to Juanda who continued for 16,000. Munk made the call and Salsberg exited stage left sharply.

The A peeled off on the turn and Juanda fired a second bullet of 42,000. Munk went briefly into the tank before he moved all in for 172,000.

Juanda went deep into the tank for two minutes or so before he released his hand to send the pot to Munk uncontested.

Super Exciting Blind On Blind Action

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jeremy Dresch just arrived at the table and limped in the small blind, and Akash Patel checked.

Both players checked it down with a board of 44106A. Dresch turned over Q8, and Patel flipped QJ, and the jack kicker played to win the pot for Patel.

The very next hand, Dresch raised to 12,000 from the button, and everyone folded. Dresch showed QQ.

Langianese Wins a Three-Way Pot

Mario Lopez, Jason Langianese in small and Glyn Griffis in the big blind had already built a pot of 40,000 when the dealer flopped 8Q8.

Lopez fired 18,000 after action checked to him. Langianese called, but Griffis got out of the way.

They checked the 10. On the river Q Langianese bet 40,000 which was enough to win the pot.

Crites Outkicks Davenport

Matthew Davenport opened to 12,000 and Garrett Crites in the small blind called to see what the board would bring.

The flop came 33K and both players checked.

The 6 dropped on the turn and Crites led out with 12,000. Davenpot hung on to see the last card.

Crites added another 15,000 on the 10 river. Davenport went beyond and made it 62,000 and Crites called.

Davenport showed K4 for a two-pair with the board, but Crites won the pot with KJ which had the higher kicker.

Albert Riccobono opened to 15,000 and Eli Elezra in the big blind called to see a flop.

The dealer fanned a 3QA. Riccobono continued with 13,000 which Elezra called again.

The dealer peeled a 5 turn. With such a wet board, the players checked all the way to the river J.

Elezra tabled A4, pointing to the four to indicate his flush, which prompted Riccobono to muck his hand. As Elezra scooped the pot, he remarked that he was glad the lowest card on the board was a three, allowing his four to play and preventing a chop. Pleased, he smiled and said, "Friendly hand, friendly pot."

Shulman Takes from Lopez

Mario Lopez made it 12,000 to play from under the gun and was looked up by TJ Shulman in the big blind.

The action went check check on the 3J8 flop for the Q to come on the turn.

Lopez led out for 11,000 and Shulman made the call. The players checked down the J river and Shulman tabled Q4 to be shipped the pot.
