Geith Wins a Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Robert Geith in the big blind and Stephen Austin in cutoff have grown a 30,000 pot as they waited for the dealer to fan out 23A flop. Geith fired 11,000 and Austin called.

Both players checked a J turn leading them to the river 8.

Geith took sometime to consider his action then placed in 12,000 sending Austin to the tank. He took considerable time to mull things over but ultimately folded his hand.

Austin Takes from Prydryk

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mario Lopez raised to 8,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Stephen Austin in the small blind who made the call. Ruslan Prydryk sat in the big blind then three-bet to 34,000.

Lopez made the call. and Austin folded.

On the A28 flop Prydryk continued for 20,000 and Lopez flat-called once more.

The players checked down the 7 turn and 5 river with Lopez tabling AQ for top pair which had Prydryk's K8x crushed and Lopez was pushed the pot.

The "Two Sneakiest Players In The Tournament" Battle

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David Ha joked, "Seats five and two are the sneakiest players in the tournament." Who happened to battle it out in the following hand.

Giuseppe Puccio raised from under the gun to 9,000, and Stan Sinclair called from the button. The flop arrived with 5105, and Puccio bet 6,000. Sinclair called to see the turn.

On the turn 7, Puccio bet again for 7,000, and Sinclair called again.

Both players checked the river 2, and Puccio turned over AJ, while Sinclair turned over A7. Sinclair's two pair won the pot.

Pett Triples Up

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Anselmo Villarreal fired 10,000. Mark Pett, immediately to his left, shoved all-in for 28,000. When action went to him, Robert Lofaso asked for what Villareal had behind, then called.

The flop came 4K6 and both remaining players checked. On the turn 2, after he receied the action, Lofaso fired 14,000 which was enough to push Villareal out of the hand.

Pett caught a pair on the river A securing his triple up.

Action folded to Michael Kinney on the button who raised to 10,000, only for Quoc Le sat in the small blind to three-bet to 102,000.

Action came back to Kinney who moved all in for not much more, Le snap-called.

A safe flop for Kinney of 844 but when the Q flipped over on the turn he was in trouble. No nine to save Kinney on the 4 river and he was sent to the rail.

Paul Degiulio limped from the small blind, and Robert Geith checked from the big blind. The flop arrived with 22K, and Degiulio bet 6,000; Geith called.

On the turn 4, Degiulio took a back seat and checked, and Geith bet 11,000.

The river 3 was checked by both players.

Degiulio flipped over 55, and Geith turned over 92 for trip twos and the win.

Kaplan Flops a Set

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Richard Kaplan in cutoff fired 6,000 and got Pluria Marshall on the button to call. Kyle Moore in the big blind joined them to see the flop.

The flop came 239 and all players checked.

On the 7 turn, Moore fired 12,000. Kaplan called but Marshall got out of the way.

Moore checked the river 8 prompting Kaplan to fatten the pot further with a 22,000 bet. Moore called leading them to a showdown.

Moore showed 54 for a busted straight draw while Kaplan turned over 99 for a set on the flop.
