David Benyamine limped in from under the gun. Joao Simao completed from the small blind, and Yang Wang checked his option in the big blind.
The dealer fanned the 2♠9♦6♥ flop, and when the action checked to Benyamine, he bet 4,000. Simao folded, while Wang called.
Wang checked again on the 3♣ turn, and Benyamine fired a second barrel of 7,000. That was enough to earn him the pot as Wang folded.

While Josh Arieh was taking his seat at the table, Ren Lin and David Coleman checked a flop of 2♥6♣3♦.
Coleman bet 5,000 on the 4♣ turn and was called, then checked the J♦ turn. Lin bet 25,000 and Coleman called.
"Baby straight," Lin said immediately with 9♠8♥6♥5♥. Coleman mucked his cards.

Daniel Perkusic raised to 6,000 from under the gun, and only Leonid Yanovski called, one seat to his left.
Perkusic opted to check on the J♥5♦4♠ flop, and called when Yanovski took over the betting lead, with a wager of 5,500.
The 8♣ turn saw Perkusic check for a second time, but on this occasion he folded when Yanovski barreled for 9,000.

Chenxiang Miao bet 42,000 from the small blind on a flop of 4♦J♣2♣, Frank Brannan moved all in for 60,000 from middle position, and Miao called.

Chenxiang Miao: A♦K♦K♥6♦
Miao was ahead with his kings, while Brannan had straight and flush draws. The turn was the J♠, while the A♥ river improved Miao to two pair to earn him the knockout.

On the first hand back from dinner, Michael Amato raised to 6,000 from under the gun and Levon Khachatryan three-bet to 20,000 from the small blind. Daniel Negreanu, who was still getting settled and playing his first hand of the tournament, four-bet to around 60,000 from the big blind.
Amato jammed for 139,000, Khachatryan moved in over the top with the covering stack, and Negreanu called off his fresh starting stack of 150,000.

Negreanu and Amato both held aces, and after seeing Khachatryan's hand, Negreanu said, "Nice hand sir, good game," perhaps anticipating what was to come.
Negreanu's prediction proved accurate as Khachatryan flopped a flush on the 8♠K♠2♠ board to take a lock on the hand.
Negreanu picked up some full house outs on the J♠ turn, but the 7♣ river changed nothing, and both he and Amato were sent to the rail.
Negreanu could only laugh as he made the short walk from the table to the reentry desk. Moments later, he was back in action at a new table with a fresh starting stack.

Brevin Andreadis was down to his last 29,000 on returning from the break and found himself all in from the small blind pre-flop. There were two other players in the hand and the 5♥3♠3♦ flop was showing and Anatoly Zlotnikov had just bet off the other opponent from the hijack.

Anatoly Zlotnikov: J♣7♣6♠4♠
Andreadis was looking strong having flopped trip threes but Zlotnikov was looking at a straight draw.
The 9♠ turn didn't change anything and neither did the 5♦ river, securing Andreadis the pot.

Petko Tsakov raised to 7,000 in middle position, and Richard Gryko called in the big blind.
After Gryko checked on the A♣2♠Q♥ flop, Tsakov continued for 6,000, which Gryko called.
It was the same scenario on the 5♦ turn, Gryko checked, Tsakov bet 16,000, and Gryko called.
When the K♥ completed the board, Gryko checked for a third time, but this time opted to fold when Tsakov fired a third barrel of 34,000.

Moments after the restart, cards went on their backs on a flop of 3♥J♣10♥ with Dylan Weisman all in and at risk in the cutoff for 159,500 against Dong Chen in the small blind.

Chen flopped a set and improved his hand with the 10♠ turn, but Weisman hit the the K♠ river to secure a double-up and leave Chen with 2,000.

The action was joined as Tomer Daniel was all in from the small blind on a flop of 8♥K♦9♣, versus Youness Barakat who was under the gun.
