Rast Sneaks a Little River Value

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Brian Rast limped in from the small blind, and Richard Gryko checked in the big blind.

Rast bet 8,000 on the KAQ flop, and Gryko called before both players checked on the 3 turn.

The K completed the board, and Rast looked for a little value, putting 10,000 into the middle. Gryko called, and swiftly mucked his cards when Rast revealed a full house with his KQ74.

Yu Doubles Off Marsico

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ben Yu raised in middle position. Philip Marsico then three-bet to 83,000 from the small blind, which Yu called. Marsico put Yu all in for 67,000 on the 47J flop, and Yu beat him to the pot when he called.

Philip Marsico: AxKxJx9

The Kx turn gave Marscio outs against Yu's nut flush, but the river came an innocent 3x to give Yu an early double-up.

Harder Finds Immediate Double

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action was joined as Christian Harder was all in preflop from the big blind for 142,000, and was at risk versus Matthew Costanzo on the button.

Christian Harder: AK98 All in
Matthew Costanzo: KK54

The 3J2 offered Harder a flush draw, and he didn't have long to wait to see it come good, as the 6 turn joined the board.

The customary 8 river was dealt, and Harder pulled in a full double.

Zlotnikov Out After One Hand

Level 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Anatoly Zlotnikov
Anatoly Zlotnikov

Bryn Kenney raised to 28,000 in the cutoff and was called by Jonathan Azoulay on the button. Anatoly Zlotnikov also came along from the big blind and demanded, "Dealer, please, small cards."

The flop came Q72, and it was checked to Azoulay, who made it 93,000 to go for the size of the pot. Zlotnikov pushed for 114,000 to force out Kenney, and Azoulay called.

Anatoly Zlotnikov: K1072 All in
Jonathan Azoulay: AQ96

The 9 turn improved Azoulay to a flush.

"No bro, deuce please," Zlotnikov sighed, but the Q river ended his final entry in the tournament.

One hand later, Kenney was all-in for 83,000 with K653 preflop. Joni Jouhkimainen looked him up holding the AQQ3 and the AK597 runout gave Kenney kings and fives for the double.

Kristen Foxen's Heater Is Even More Remarkable Than You Think

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kristen Foxen
Kristen Foxen

When Kristen Foxen won the 2026 WSOP $25,000 High Roller, it was her first outright victory in a major nosebleed event. It was also the exclamation point on one of the most sustained periods of elite tournament poker anyone has produced in recent memory.

Since finishing 13th in the 2024 WSOP Main Event for $600,000, the six-time bracelet winner has been making final tables so regularly they might as well reserve her a seat. Few, if any, have come close to matching her record in that time. And with the WSOP just two weeks in, there's no indication she's stopping any time soon.

Four seven-figure scores. Twenty-three final tables. Nearly $11 million in prize money. Almost all of it earned against the best players in the world, in the toughest tournaments.
