2026 World Series of Poker
Level: 12
Blinds: 3,000/6,000
Ante: 6,000
By the time the turn showed 10♠4♥2♦2♣, Lautaro Guerra was already all-in and at risk with Elior Sion and Stephen Chidwick still to act. They both checked and did so again on the 7♦ river.
Guerra tabled his A♥9♥6♦4♦ which Sion had beat holding the A♦Q♥Q♠8♦. Chidwick initially tossed his cards towards the muck from where his A♣Q♦10♦9♠ were briefly exposed as per the all-in showdown rules.
Chris Hunichen raised to 18,000 in the hijack, and Dylan Smith called in the big blind.
Smith then led out for 30,000 on the 7♠9♦3♥ flop, and Hunichen called.
The 6♠ turn didn't slow Smith down, betting another 75,000. On this occasion, Hunichen ceded, returning his cards to the dealer.
Amit Ben Yacov and Dennis Weiss had created a pot of 125,000 when they saw the 8♠9♥7♥ flop. They both checked and did so again when the 10♥ appeared on the turn.
Ben Yacov checked a third time on the 7♣ river. Weiss spent some time in the tank before he shoved in the majority of his stack for a bet of 130,000. Ben Yacov immediately folded, surrendering the pot.
Three ways to the A♣Q♥8♥ flop, Josh Greenly bet 29,000 and then called all-in when Bryce Yockey potted to force out Samuel Del Castillo Guerra in between them.
Josh Greenly: A♦K♦K♥6♠
Bryce Yockey: A♥10♥9♦3♠
Both had a pair of aces, but Greenly had the better kicker. Then the 9♣ turn improved Yockey to aces-up and the lead. The 6♦ river was too little, too late, and sent Greenly to the rail.
Jonathan Depa and Arie Ori Miller limped in for Nino Pansier to raise the pot to 28,000. Both Depa and Miller called and they headed to the J♥8♦4♠ flop. Depa checked and Miller asked for the size of the pot, then jammed for his last 80,000 into 97,000. Pansier let go and Depa sigh-folded as well.
Aaron Mermelstein limped in from under the gun, and Dylan Smith did the same on the hijack. Nikhil 'Airball' Arcot then potted it from the small blind, putting 25,000 into the middle, which both limpers called.
Arcot immediately potted it again for 85,000 on the K♦10♣4♥ flop. Mermelstein folded, but Smith moved all in for 168,000, and Arcot called.
Dylan Smith: Q♦J♦10♥9♠
Nikhil Arcot: Q♣J♠10♠6♣
Their hands were nearly identical, both with a pair of tens and a straight draw. The 8♠ rolled off on the turn, changing nothing, then the J♣ completed the board, giving Smith a king-high straight, and along with it, a full double-up.
Left with just 12,000, Arcot was eliminated the following hand.
Daniel Geeng checked the K♠7♥8♦ flop to Pakinai Lisawad on the button, who placed a small bet of 15,000 in response. Geeng then raised to 75,000, and Lisawad called.
Geeng quickly moved his remaining 107,000 over the line on the 3♥ turn, and Lisawad snap-called with the covering stack.
Daniel Geeng: A♥K♥K♦2♣
Pakinai Lisawad: 9♦8♥7♠6♠
"Sorry, bro," Lisawad said before the dealer dealt the 9♣ river.
Nothing had changed, however, seeing Geeng's top set double him up to overtake Lisawad on the leaderboard.
