Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Brevin Andreadis raised to 140,000 in the hijack, and faced a three-bet to 480,000 from Jason Mercier on the button. When the action came back his way, Andreadis called.

Mercier's remaining 50,000 found its way in on the Q89 flop, and the cards were flipped over.

Jason Mercier: AA93 All in
Brevin Andreadis: AKK4

The 4 turn kept Mercier in the lead, but the game was up when the 10 improved Andreadis to a flush, sending Mercier to the rail.

Kristopher Tong
Kristopher Tong

Kristopher Tong committed his final 350,000 from the small blind, being looked up by Zachary Grech on the button.

Kristopher Tong: AA76 All in
Zachary Grech: J1098

"No!" Grech exclaimed as the Q5A flop gave Tong top set. Grech spiked Broadway on the K turn, though, and the 2 river did not pair the board to set Tong's elimination in stone.

Foxen Forces Out Yockey to Extend Lead

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Bryce Yockey and Brevin Andreadis limped in before Alex Foxen made it 220,000 to go on the button and Yockey was the only caller to then check his option on the 1085 flop. Foxen continued for 225,000 and Yockey called.

The very same action repeated on the 5 turn albeit for 410,000 and Yockey then checked the 10 on the river. Foxen now used one time bank extension and then fired a pot-sized bet of 1,830,000 which had Yockey covered by a very marginal amount.

Yockey instantly grabbed all his five remaining time banks and splashed them out in front of his stack. Ultimately, he ended up using all five and folded with two seconds to spare before all of his eligible time ran out.

"Oh man, I think I would have gone broke against you one year ago," Yockey exclaimed.

"Was it something that changed in you or me?" Foxen countered and Yockey replied "me".

Jason Mercier joined the conversation and asked what cards Yockey had, guessing three fives, ace ten and pocket nines in that order.

While this very long hand played out, Aaron Kupin lost his final four big blinds to become one of the last casualties of the night.

Easy Game, Pansier Falls to Foxen

Level 20 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Seeing a limp on the button ahead of him, Alex Foxen potted it from the small blind. Nino Pansier responded by moving all in for roughly 350,000 from the big blind, which only Foxen called.

Nino Pansier: AK83 All in
Alex Foxen: KQ94

The 9510 flop had Pansier drawing dead, and he was up from his seat before the 2 turn and 3 river had even completed the board.

"You make it look easy", one of the other players at the table directed at Foxen.

Ka Kwan Lau

In a three-way preflop all-in, Carlo van Ravenswoud was at risk for 850,000, Gruffudd Pugh-Jones had 800,000 in front of him, and Ka Kwan Lau called whilst having both covered.

Gruffudd Pugh-Jones: KK33 All in

Chance Kornuth raised to 75,000 in the cutoff, and Biao Ding three-bet to 270,000 on the button. The action folded back to Kornuth, who called.

Kornuth checked on the 583 flop, and released his cards when Ding continued for a beefy 600,000.

Mighall Double Leaves Tong Short

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kristopher Tong raised the button to 100,000 and Phillip Mighall in the small blind three-bet the pot, then called all-in when Tong jammed into him.

Phillip Mighall: AK107 All in
Kristopher Tong: QJJ9

The Q82 flop vaulted Tong into the lead, which he retained with the 8 turn. However, the K followed on the river to give Mighall the superior two pair and double worth 575,000.

One table over, Eelis Parssinen repotted to 360,000 on the button and Aaron Kupin flat-called for two thirds of his short stack. Kupin checked an ace-high flop and then folded when Pärssinen bet 200,000.

Aaron Kupin raised to 105,000 from middle position, with just 75,000 behind. Biao Ding was the only player to call, doing so from the small blind.

When the dealer laid out a Q105 flop, Ding bet 75,000, and Kupin called.

Aaron Kupin: KQJ7 All in
Biao Ding: A107Xx

The 6 turn and 4 river favoured Kupin, who pulled in a double up.

Tong Dives Under a Million

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kristopher Tong in the big blind and Aaron Mermelstein in the cutoff had gathered a sizable pot when Tong bet 325,000 on the 57Q4 turn. Mermelstein called, after which the 8 river was checked to showdown.

Tong announced a pair of kings, prompting Mermelstein to table AQQ5 for top set, winning him the hand.
