Hakim Eliminated by Trojand

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jeffrey Hakim was able to boost his severe short stack to then get it in for around 240,000 on the AK5 flop, which Jeremy Trojand called as the initial flop aggressor.

Jeffrey Hakim: A533 All in
Jeremy Trojand: A632

The 10 turn and 6 river improved Trojand to the superior two pair to send Hakim to the rail.

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
David Wang
David Wang

David Wang got the last of his short stack in after the Q638 turn and was called by Joao Simao in the cutoff to create the following showdown.

David Wang: AQ84 All in
Joao Simao: A963

Wang's top two pair on the turn were up against top and bottom pair, but Simao also had the diamond draw as well. The river brought the 10 and that spelled the end for the Aussie.

Aces Hold to Double Up Juhasz

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Joni Jouhkimainen raised to 70,000 in early position. David Benyamine called in the cutoff before Benjamin Juhasz three-bet to 290,000 from the big blind.

Jouhkimainen took some time before he four-bet to 950,000. Benyamine folded after some thought, after which Juhasz quickly went all in for 1,110,000. Jouhkimainen instantly tossed in calling chips.

Benjamin Juhasz: AA77 All in
Joni Jouhkimainen: AKK10

Jouhkimainen flopped a straight draw on Q8J, but he received no further help on the 5 turn or 4 river. Juhasz's aces held, doubling him up to a top ten stack.

Small Pot for Linde

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action folded to Dylan Linde in the small blind, who raised 60,000. Jeremy Druckman called in the big blind.

Linde continued for 70,000 on the 25J flop, and Druckman called.

Both the J turn, and the 4 river checked through, with Linde taking the pot with his AAKQ.

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Steven Sarmiento: KK42 All in
Artur Martirosian: AQ106

De Souza Eliminated by Pärssinen

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Belarmino De Souza
Belarmino De Souza

The completed board showed A4468 when Belarmino De Souza in the small blind pushed all in from the small blind and Eelis Pärssinen called on the button.

De Souza revealed KK77 for kings up and blockers to the eight-high straight. However, it was no good as Pärssinen took it down holding the AKQJ for aces and fours.

Also no longer in the mix is Josh Arieh, who had last been spotted with a severe short stack.

Morris Eliminated by Druckman

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Arthur Morris
Arthur Morris

Arthur Morris and Jeremy Druckman had previously clashed in a large pot before the bubble when Druckman got through with a shove. This time, they got their chips in the middle when Druckman once more check-raised.

The 997 flop saw Morris bet for 150,000, Druckman check-raised to 340,000 and Morris called leading them to the J turn. Druckman had barely checked when Morris jammed only to see the former instantly call.

Arthur Morris: KJ108 All in
Jeremy Druckman: AQJ9

Morris' straight was no good anymore and diamonds would have seen the same result as well, while the meaningless Q river completed the board.

Matakis Finds River Value

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Joining the action with 190,000 already in the pot, and a KK9 flop on the felt, Ian Matakis bet 55,000 from the cutoff, and Levon Khachatryan called on the button.

Action checked through on the 8 turn, and the 2 completed the board. Matakis compiled a bet of 225,000 and flicked it into the middle, and Khachatryan snap-called.

"King-eight," Matakis said, flipping over AAK8, which was good for a full house, and Khachatryan mucked his cards in response.

Foxen Drills River to Down Koon; Hansen Also Heads Home

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon checked from the big blind to Alex Foxen in early position. Foxen then bet the pot of 170,000 on the 8Q4 flop, which Koon called.

The 10 turn prompted Koon to lead with a pot-sized bet of 510,000. Foxen quickly put his opponent all in, and Koon called off his remaining 120,000.

Jason Koon: QJ99 All in
Alex Foxen: AQJ3

Koon had turned the nuts, but Foxen found a higher straight on the Kx river to send Koon to the exit.

During the hand, Gus Hansen stood up from his seat at another table as he lost his all-in to be eliminated.
