Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Barrett Threadgill
Barrett Threadgill

By the time the turn showed J8310, there were more than 500,000 in the middle, and a lot more chips would follow when Barrett Threadgill on the button and Carlo van Ravenswoud got their stacks into the middle.

Barrett Threadgill: KQ94 All in
Carlo van Ravenswoud: QJ97

Threadgill had a very healthy freeroll to improve and he got there with the 5 river to double for 1,360,000.

Gryko Faces Little Resistance

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Biao Ding raised to 80,000 in the hijack, which Richard Gryko and Daniel Negreanu called in the small and big blind.

The action checked through on the 9Q2 flop, giving Gryko the green light to bet on the Q turn. His wager of 100,000 was enough to see both Negreanu and Ding fold, and he scooped in the pot unchallenged.

Gryko Gets It on the River

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Richard Gryko raised to 75,000 under the gun. Biao Ding called on the button, and Levon Khachatryan did so in the big blind.

The trio checked through the 587 flop. Khachatryan checked again on the 6 turn, seeing Gryko bet 120,000. Ding quickly folded before Khachatryan called.

Gryko sized up to 375,000 on the 9 river, which was enough to win the pot as Khachatryan check-folded.

Meanwhile, James Obst's seat was left empty at this table, signaling his bust-out.

Lahmani Doubles Through Linde

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Oshri Lahmani raised in the cutoff and then called a pot-sized three-bet to 210,000 by Dylan Linde on the button to keep 60,000 behind, which he didn't get in first to act on the Q53 flop but instead checked. Linde bet the very same amount and Lahmani called all-in.

Oshri Lahmani: AJJ7 All in
Dylan Linde: AK109

The 4 turn and 3 river ensured the double of Lahmani. One table over, James Obst was not as fortunate as his stack was sent over to Biao Ding.

O Sole Mio

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Hani Mio
Hani Mio

With 85,000 invested preflop, four players headed to the J104 flop and the action checked to Hani Mio on the button, who jammed for his last 265,000. Only Ian Matakis called and they flipped them over.

Hani Mio: AQJ8 All in
Ian Matakis: KQJ5

The 7 turn changed nothing but Mio improved to jacks and eights on the 8 river to stay in contention.

"If he doesn't call, I beat you," Gruffudd Pugh-Jones said after it was all over.

Chenxiang Miao raised to 60,000 from the cutoff, and Sergio Martinez Gonzalez called in the big blind.

Martinez Gonzalez check-called a bet of 125,000 on the A24 flop, before the action checked through on both the J turn and the Q river.

Martinez Gonzalez tabled AQJ3, and Miao mucked his hand.

Foxen Annihilates Aharoni's Stack

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Sergio Martinez Gonzalez raised to 85,000 in middle position. Alex Foxen called on the button, Daniel Aharoni followed suit on the button, and Chenxiang Miao defended his big blind.

It then checked to Foxen on the 8J6 flop. He bet 250,000, prompting Aharoni to jam in his stack of 730,000. The other two players quickly folded before Foxen snap-called with the covering stack.

Daniel Aharoni: AQ1010 All in
Alex Foxen: J987

Foxen was ahead with two pair, and he rivered a full house on the QJ runout to send Aharoni packing.

Khachatryan Loses to Ding; Busts Fischer After

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Manuel Fischer
Manuel Fischer

On the heads-up turn of 7749, Levon Khachatryan bet 125,000 in the big blind and Biao Ding called on the button. Khachatryan bet another 275,000 on the J river and Ding called to catch his opponent bluffing as Khachatryan only exposed the AJ. Ding's QQ65 won the pot.

Soon after that, Manuel Fischer was all-in after the QJ79 turn and was looked up by Khachatryan.

Manuel Fischer: KQ94 All in
Levon Khachatryan: Q1098

Khachatryan had turned the straight and Fischer still had outs with his two pair and flush draw along with a ten to make a higher straight. However, the 2 river was not among them for Fischer to bust.

"Wow, you always have good hands," Daniel Negreanu chimed in and Khachatryan reminded him in table chat that he had previously knocked out Negreanu on a previous entry on Day 1.

Pugh-Jones Takes One Down

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ka Kwan Lau limped in from early position, and, one seat to his left, Barrett Threadgill did the same. Stian Usterud joined in on the button before Gruffudd Pugh-Jones spoiled the party with a raise to 150,000 from the small blind. Lau called, but the two limpers folded.

The dealer laid out a A82 flop, and Pugh-Jones moved all in for 195,000. Lau, who had used his hands to cover the flop, peeled the cards one at a time. Clearly, he hadn't connected, as he returned his cards to the dealer.

Kornuth Captures Sizable Pot as More Depart

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

The Q74J turn checked to Aaron Kupin in the hijack, who bet the pot of 295,000. Chance Kornuth responded with a pot-sized raise to 1,180,000 from the small blind, quickly folding out Nino Pansier in the big blind.

Kupin spent several of his time banks before he reluctantly folded, sending the pot to Kornuth without showdown.

During the hand, Christian Harder became the latest elimination of the tournament at another table, while Chad Eveslage had busted not long before him.
