Action picked up on fourth as Sion check-raised a bet from Mizrachi, who called.

Sion then opted to check-call on both fifth and sixth.

On seventh, Sion led and Mizrachi quickly called. However, Sion would reveal A74 in the hole for a pair of aces and a seven low, and The Grinder could not salvage half of the pot.

In the post-mortem, Mizrachi lamented, "I was freerolling you. Eight low with a flush draw," as the freeroll turned into getting scooped on seventh.

A big pot brewed as Patrick Leonard sat deep in the tank facing a bet on seventh street from Weisman. Despite the bet only being 10,000 and there being about ten times that in the pot, Leonard took several minutes before calling.

Wesiman showed 532 to reveal a straight flush as Leonard mucked in defeat. He seemed to have known he was beat, but table mate Nacho Barbero told him there was no way to get away from it.

Krela Forces Out Kruse

No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw

Max Kruse raised to 5,000 and Jonathan Krela called in the next seat. Kruse patted while Krela took two and the former then bet 7,000. Krela raised to 45,000 and Kruse reluctantly folded.

"I think he was fucking with you," Chance Kornuth exclaimed and Krela then said "it can't be that good".

Kruse replied he had a ten, to which Krela said "a queen I would believe".

The former football striker has been visiting the World Series of Poker for several years now but this appears to be the first time he has joined the pinnacle

Action picked up on sixth with several bets already in the middle. Glantz led with open queens, Anderson raised, Mizrachi called, Glantz three-bet, Anderson made it four bets, Mizrachi folded, and Glantz called.

Seventh then checked through as Anderson revealed A52 in the hole for a pair of fives and an eight low.

"I scoop," Glantz announced, tabling A73 for a pair of queens with a seven low.

Daniel Negreanu met a fan on the rail before playing a heads-up pot against Brian Rast.

"Daniel! Hi!"

"Hi!"

"I feel like I know you."

"I don't know you!"

"I'm Melissa."

"Hi Melissa!"

Negreanu then checked on the flop of 27Q and Rast checked back. Negreanu bet on the J turn and Rast called.

Negreanu bet again on the 10 river and Rast raised. Negreanu called. Rast showed AK95 for Broadway as Negreanu showed a no-good set with AQ77.

Gershon Distenfeld called down bets by David Benyamine from fifth to seventh street and was shown the J75 in the hole for a flush, which he couldn't beat. With some frustration, Distenfeld tossed his cards into the muck while Benyamine went back to building his large chip towers.

Action picked up on fourth in a five-way limped pot as Beinner and Kostritsyn checked to Negreanu who bet. Everybody called until it got back to Kostritsyn, and he raised, which forced out Negreanu but the other three called.

Fifth street checked through before it folded to Kostritsyn again on sixth. He bet, Taylor raised, which forced out Rast and Beinner, while Kostritsyn called.

Seventh street checked through as Taylor revealed AAXx in the hole, and her two pair, aces and sevens, were the winner as last year's third place finisher dragged a pot.

Hoenig Wins a Long Hand

Philip Long raised to 5,000 from under the gun and John Monnette called in the next seat. Ryan Hoenig on the button made it 21,000 to go and both opponents called. The trio checked the J85 flop to the 2 turn on which only Long check-called Hoenig's delayed continuation bet of 24,000.

Long checked again the Q river and Hoenig made it 60,500 to go. After a semi-long tank, the Brit opted to fold.

Shaun Deeb and Walter Chambers got into a raising war that saw Chambers moving all in for 170,000 and Deeb calling. Deeb drew one and Chambers stood pat.

Deeb tabled 8x6x5x3x and looked at his final card as Chambers showed 9x7x6x4x2x. Deeb couldn't beat it and mucked in defeat.

Jonathan Krela limped second-to-act, Patrick Stacey limped in the cutoff, and Christopher Vitch potted to 9,000 in the big blind, which both opponents called.

On the JJ3 flop, Vitch led for 12,000 before Krela put in a raise to 36,000, Stacey folded, and Vitch called.

The 3 turn checked through to the 5 river which saw Vitch lead for 65,000 into 102,000, and Krela laid it down fairly quick.
