Phil Hellmuth raised to 14,000 from the cutoff before Michael Moncek three-bet to 41,000 from the cutoff. Hellmuth moved back over the top for around 315,000. Moncek went into the blender, ultimately folding a, "ten-eight." Hellmuth said he had a nine-seven, and then lamented his decision to shove.

On the next deal, Hellmuth opened to 14,000 and Jared Bleznick called from the button. Hellmuth drew one, while Bleznick stood pat. Hellmuth bet 40,000 and Bleznick folded.

Hellmuth made it 14,000 the following hand from under the gun. James Tilton and Josh Arieh called from the blinds. Each player drew one, and then checked through to showdown, where Tilton's 9x7x5x3x2x was best.

Maksim Pisarenko raised from middle position and Hlelmuth defended his big blind. Hellmuth took one before Pisarenko decided to stick with his hand. Both players checked and Pisarenko took the pot with Jx10x9x8x2x.

David "ODB" Baker raised to 15,000 under the gun. Frank Brannan called on the button before Christopher Vitch squeezed in a three-bet to 62,000 from the small blind.

Big blind Dylan Weisman then spent a while in the tank before he called, leaving only 8,000 behind. Baker also came along, but Brannan had seen enough and folded.

Vitch continued for 135,000 on the A96 flop. Weisman quickly called all in, while Baker mucked his cards after a few minutes in the tank.

Action was picked up on sixth street with a big pot brewing between Phil Ivey and Chino Rheem.

On sixth street, Ivey bet before Rheem raised, leaving less than a bet behind. Ivey made the call.

On seventh street, Ivey lead out for a bet, and that sent Rheem deep into the tank, who showed his card on 7th street was the 10.

After nearly two minutes debating his decision, Rheem found the call and was eliminated after Ivey tabled his eight-six, and Rheem tossed his cards into the muck and quickly left the tournament area.

Ariel Mantel defended the big blind against a raise by Nick Guagenti and check-called the J42 flop. On the 3 turn, Mantel checked again and Guagenti took it down with a bet.

Phil Hui then raised the next hand to pick up calls from Roy Thung in the cutoff and Ray Dehkharghani in the big blind. Dehkharghani led the 854 flop, Hui called and Thung folded. Dehkharghani bet again the 8 turn for Hui to call and the K river was checked. The Q4 of Dehkharghani won the pot.
