O'Dea Rivers Valden

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On a 973 flop, big blind Eoghan O'Dea checked to David Valden, who had raised from under the gun. Valden bet 260,000 and O'Dea took about two minutes before check-raising to 600,000.

Valden didn't need as long to make his decision, quickly moving all in for around 2,200,000. O'Dea, who barely had him covered, called it off.

David Valden: JJ All in
Eoghan O'Dea: A7

Valden was currently ahead with his jacks but O'Dea had all sorts of outs to win the hand. The Q on the turn was safe for Valden, but the 10 on the river completed O'Dea's flush to end Valden's run in 25th place.

In frustration, Valden flung his cap across the room, before quickly regaining his composure to congratulate O'Dea.

Mullaly Wins a Massive Pot without Showdown

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Mauro Ferreira opened to 160,000 from the button, and Myles Mullaly in the big blind called to see a flop.

The dealer fanned out A105. Mullaly check-called Ferreira's 160,000 continuation bet.

After action was checked to him on the K turn, Ferreira took his time to consider his move before putting in 500,000 in the middle of the table. Mullaly responded with his own tanking before finally making the call.

On the river 5 and with action passed to him again, Ferreira took quite a significant amount of time before firing 800,000 into the pot.

Mullaly mulled over his actions, alternately looking at the board, the pot, and Ferreira. Finally tired of the back-and-forth tanking between the two players, someone called for the clock. In the final ten seconds, Mullaly threw in one chip for a call, prompting Ferreira to muck his hand instantly.

A bit surprised, the dealer and some players had to clarify if it was a muck. Ferreira confirmed before the dealer pushed the pot toward a visibly amused Mullaly, who also didn't show his hand.

Morvan Out as River Counterfeits and Valden Out-Kicks

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Romain Morvan open-jammed for 510,000 under the gun, and David Valden in late position called. After action folded around, they went to showdown.

Romain Morvan: A2 All in
David Valden: AK

Morvan was looking at a potential double-up when the flop dropped 552, giving him a two-pair. He kept the lead on the 4 turn. Morvan got eliminated, however, when the A fell on the river, giving Valden the same two pair, aces and fives, but with the higher king kicker.

Lopez Loses to Hrabec

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Gonzalo Lopez
Gonzalo Lopez

Roman Hrabec raised to 160,000 from under the gun. Gonzalo Lopez three-bet to 1,100,000 two seats over, leaving himself with a couple of red T-5,000 chips to play with, and action got back to Hrabec.

He took about thirty seconds before moving all in. Lopez flicked the redbirds in to get to the showdown.

Gonzalo Lopez: AQ All in
Roman Hrabec: AK

The K95 flop was enough for Lopez, who got up from his seat. He started walking after the 9 turn, making the 2 river a mere formality.

Reichard Building Chips

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Josh Reichard bet 180,000 on a flop of 4Q8 from the button. Eoghan O'Dea check-called from the hijack.

The turn brought the 7. O'Dea checked, Reichard bet 725,000. After some thought, O'Dea made the call.

The 7 fell on the river, pairing the board.

O'Dea checked again. This time, Reichard moved all in with 1,940,000 in his stack.

O'Dea tanked for a bit over a bet that was three-quarters of his stack, then let it go.

Kupin Falls to Reichard

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Aaron Kupin raised to 160,000 from under the gun, Josh Reichard three-bet shoved from the big blind, and Kupin called all in for 1,070,000.

Aaron Kupin: KK All in
Josh Reichard: AQ

Kupin already stood up after the A103 flop, although the J turn provided him some extra outs. The K on the river, despite improving him to a set, wasn't one of them as Reichard made Broadway to send the bracelet winner home in 28th.

Babayev Says Bye Bye to Betito

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Liran Betito raised to 525,000 under the gun.

The action folded to Agharazi Babayev on the button. He raised enough to bring in Betito's last couple of chips should he choose to make the call. He did.

Liran Betito: A4All in
Agharazi Babayev: A9

The door card gave Babayev a pair of nines and that held through a full board of 57947.

Harris Triples Up, Latorre Wins the Side Pot

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jose Latorre opened to 120,000 in early position and Daniel Smiljkovic three-bet him to 330,000. Caleb Harris in the big blind, covered by that bet, was all-in for 180,000. Latorre called Smiljkovic, creating a 300,000 side pot.

The flop came Q5K. After the action was checked to him, Smiljkovic shot out 100,000, which Latorre called.

Both players checked the A turn and the 8 river. Smiljkovic showed K10 for a flopped pair, but Latorre turned over A5 for a pair of aces to win the side pot.

Harris tabled 104 to win the main pot with a flush.

Reichard Turns Trips, Sends Nam to the Rail

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action was picked up with Seunghyun Nam at risk, and Josh Reichard's cards and chips in the middle of the table.

Seunghyun Nam: A3 All in
Josh Reichard: K8

After losing the vast majority of his stack on his ill-timed bluff of Reichard earlier, Nam was now looking at a potential double-up when the flop came KA9. In the K turn, Reichard took the lead with trips, dashing Nam's hopes of staying in the tournament.

Nam got on his feet, ready to leave, when the dealer completed the board with a useless 3 river.
