No Names, No Pack Drill

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Player One opened and folded to a raise from Player Two.

Player Two: "Why don't you raise call?"

Player One: "I'll raise shove it in your face."

Hats Off to Thomas Cuce

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Thomas Cuce is sporting a baseball cap with the slogan, “I bring nothing to the table.”

He just brought the pain to an opponent when his {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} beat {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

All in preflop the board ran out {j-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs},

Sebastian Pauli Eliminated

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Sebastian Pauli recently informed the PokerNews live reporting team that after an ill-timed bluff which left him with 600,000 chips, he was eliminated in a blind-on-blind confrontation. Action folded around to the small blind who called and Pauli moved all in holding {5-}{5-}. His opponent insta-called and tabled {J-}{J-}. The board was no help to Pauli, and his deep run in the Colossus has come to a close.

Michael Telker's Stack Grows

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Michael Telker
Michael Telker

Michael Telker raised from the button to 90,000 and both blinds called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and both blinds checked. Telker bet 110,000, the small blind folded, and the big blind called.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and both players checked.

The river brought the {5-Spades} and both players checked again.

The big blind tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, but Telker showed {9-Spades}{7-Spades} and took the pot with a pair of nines.

Katie Lindsay Eliminated in 67th Place for $10,684

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Katie Lindsay - 67th Place
Katie Lindsay - 67th Place

We caught up with a disappointed but philosophical Katie Lindsay at the payout desk having just been eliminated in creditable 67th place.

Having been well placed earlier in the day Lindsay went card dead and as the blinds crept up she lost a series of 60:40 situations which left her with 5 big blinds that went in the middle with Ace-Five. Lindsay was called by a player holding Queens and with no help from the deck that was the end if he Colossal adventure.

A Handful of Eliminations

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Paul Berger Eliminated by Daniel Placencia

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Paul Berger was the player at risk in a preflop all in confrontation with Daniel Placencia.

Paul Berger: [asks
Daniel Placencia] {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

A pretty sick flop as the board ran out {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} with the set on the flop holding for Placencia to bust Berger.
