Pomponio Picks Off Affleck River Bluff

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The board at the river was {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Matt Affleck slid out a bet of 1,150,000 and Thomas Pomponio had a decision on his hands. The bet looked to be a little over half-pot. A minute or so ticked by before Pomponio called.

Affleck showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Pomponio his winning {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Matt Affleck opened from early position and action got to Massoud Eskandari in the small blind who announced all in for just shy of 1,200,000.

The big blind folded and it got back to Affleck who got a count and called.

Massoud Eskandari: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Matt Affleck: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

A run out of {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts} saw the chips shipped to Affleck and Eskandari tapping out.

Luke Vrabel Eliminates One Foe and Doubles Through Another

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Luke Vrabel
Luke Vrabel

Ronald Lemco moved all in from under the gun for approximately 480,000, Robert Elliott reshoved from middle position for about 2,100,000, and Luke Vrabel called all in for 1,830,000.

Lemco tabled {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, but he trailed both Elliott, who showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, and Vrabel, who dominated them both with {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}.

The board ran out {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Vrabel's hand stayed best. He rocketed out of his seat and let out an ear-splitting cheer, prompting a player at an adjacent table to tell him to take a deep breath.

"Don't tell me to take a deep breath!" Vrabel belted. "That was the biggest #$^@%$ spot of my life."

Guifang Liu Four-Bet Shoves Jacks to Bust

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Kent Coppock opened from under the gun and John Hanna in the small blind responded with a three-bet to 540,000. Guifang Liu in the big blind then moved all in for just under 1,700,000 and with Coppock having a quick think before folding Hanna made the call.

John Hanna: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Guifang Liu: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The stacks were counted and Hanna did indeed have Liu covered, sending the latter to the exits.

Chad Davis is Out

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Ralph Massey opened the action and both Kent Coppock and Chad Davis moved all-in. Massey folded to let the other two players fight it out.

Kent Coppock: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Chad Davis: {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The flop {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{Q-Spades} gave Davis some outs but the {2-Spades} on the turn and the {6-Spades} on the river didn't help in the end.
