Zinno Gone, Two More Enter

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Anthony Zinno has been eliminated just now and two new players have been added to take the total number of entries up to 76 in total.

Igor Kurganov is another bracelet winner looking to win his second one here in the King's Resort. Michael Bleg is a relatively unknown Czech player but looks to be ready to compete with some of the biggest names in the poker world.

Big Slick Works for Grospellier

Level 7 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded to Bertrand Grospellier on the button who made it 25,000 to go. Eder Murata three-bet to 105,000 in the small blind and Grospellier just called. The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and both players knuckled the table for the {k-Hearts} to land on the turn.

Murata checked again and Grospellier put in a bet of 80,000. Murata called and the {3-Clubs} fell on the river. Murata checked one more time but that didn't stop Grospellier as he splashed in another bet of 225,000. Murata thought for a minute and slowly stuck in the chips to call. Grospellier tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Murata's cards went face down to the muck.

Gonzalez Makes Hsiang Fold

Level 7 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ognjen Sekularac raised in early position to 23,000. Yue Wei Hsiang had a different plan and three-bet to 57,000 from the cutoff. Fabrizio Gonzalez went for the cold four-bet of 150,000 from the big blind and initial raiser Sukularac folded. Hsiang called the four-bet and they went heads-up to the flop.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and both players checked this time. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Gonzalez made a delayed c-bet of 140,000. That was enough to make Hsiang fold and Gonzalez took down the pot.

Berman Has Farrell Confused

Level 7 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Rainer Kempe opened to 25,000 in middle position and was called by Asaf Berman in the cutoff, Niall Farrell in the small blind and Orpen Kisacikoglu in the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked all the way around to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn.

Three more checks put the action on Berman who tossed in a bet of 70,000. Farrell was the only player to call and the {a-Spades} completed the board. Farrell checked again and Berman quickly bet 105,000. Farrell thought for a minute before the table talk ensued.

"You've got me confused this time," Farrell said. "What should I do?"

"Depends what you have," Berman responded.

"I've got that," Farrell pointed to the {10-Diamonds}. "That's all I have."

"That's probably not enough," was Berman's advice.

Farrell decided to lay his hand down and Berman couldn't help but show the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Michael Soyza
Michael Soyza

Michael Soyza raised to 25,000 from the cutoff with only 156,000 behind. Vladimir Troyanovskiy sat on the button and three-bet to 65,000. The players in the blinds folded and Soyza moved all in for a total of 181,000. Troyanovskiy called and Soyza was in good shape to double up.

Michael Soyza: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Vladimir Troyanovskiy: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} without any danger for Soyza and he managed to double up. Troyanovskiy is now one of the shorter stacks with just 17 big blinds.

Kristen Bicknell raised to 22,000 from under the gun and was called by Richard Yong in the cutoff, Tobias Ziegler on the button, and Andrej Desset on the small blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, everyone checked to Ziegler who bet 32,000 which only Bicknell called.

The turn brought them the {6-Clubs}, Bicknell checked again and Ziegler continued with a bet of 110,000. Bicknell tanked for a while but opted to fold in the end.
