Big Stacks Clash

Martin Winkler raised to 3,000 from under the gun and Tobias Anttila three-bet to 9,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to Winkler who made the call.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Winkler check-raised the 6,000 continuation-bet of Anttila to 16,000 which was called.

The turn brought them the {9-Clubs}, Winkler checked again. Anttila bet 25,000 and that was enough for Winkler to give up on the hand.

Robert Skopalik raised to 3,000 from the hijack and Ognjen Sekularac three-bet to 10,700 on the button which Skopalik called out of turn as Diana Volcovschi still hadn't taken any action in the big blind. Volcovschi took a few seconds and then shoved. Skopalik folded and pulled his call back to leave his original bet in the pot. Sekularac called.

River Bet Takes it for Tsang

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Alireza Panahandeh opened to 2,800 under the gun and Michal Gajewski called from the hijack along with Anson Tsang in the big blind.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Tsang checked. Panahandeh bet 4,500 and Gajewski folded but Tsang check-called.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and both players opted to check it to the {10-Hearts} river. This time, Tsang led out with a bet of 12,000 and Panahandeh shook his head and went deep into the tank, then let it go.

"You're just lucky man, you're just lucky," commented Panahandeh.

Volcovschi Chipping Down

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ognjen Sekularac raised to 3,000 and it was called by Diana Volcovschi and Robert Skopalik in the big blind.

The flop fell {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and it checked to Volcovschi who bet 4,000. Both Skopalik and Sekularac called.

The {3-Hearts} was also checked to Volcovschi who send 10,000 in the middle. This time, only Skopalik called.

A {q-Spades} completed the board and Skopalik tossed a pile of 5,000 chips in the middle, putting Volcovschi at risk for her last 37,000. After some tanking, Volcovschi ended up folding.

Nines Are Good for Merzhvinskii

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was a pot of around 17,000 in the middle and the flop was reading {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} when Manig Loeser checked from middle position. Aleksandr Merzhvinskii bet 5,500 from the cutoff and Loeser check-called.

The dealer burned and turned the {a-Spades} that was checked through to the {2-Hearts} river. Both players checked again. Loeser tabled {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for eights and threes but that wasn't good enough as Merzhvinskii turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} to win the pot with nines and eights.

Ricci's Bluff Gets Through

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Andrea Ricci raised in the cutoff to 2,400 and Amir Mozaffarian three-bet to 5,600 on the button. It came back to Ricci who called.

On a flop {3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} Ricci check-called Mozaffarian's continuation for 4,200. The turn was the {6-Spades} and Ricci tanked for some time before check-calling again, this time for 8,500.

The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and Ricci decided ti bet 25,000. Mozaffarian ended up folding and Ricci showed {j-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Sekularac Pulls in a Pot

Ognjen Sekularac raised to 3,000 from middle position and Mihai Manole defended from the big blind.

A flop reading {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} was dealt and Manole checked. Sekularac bet 2,500 and Manole check-called.

The turn came the {8-Hearts} and Manole checked once more. Sekularac fired 8,000 and Manole let it go.

Higgs Halted by Duerk

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Sam Higgs raised to 3,300 from the early position and was called by Michael Duerk in the cutoff. Roman Sahin grabbed a stack of chips and put them in for the three-bet from the button. The blinds quickly folded and Higgs contemplated for a bit before opting to call for around 24,000. Duerk got out of their way immediately.
