Bohadnov Takes One from Kempe

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Rainer Kempe bet 2,600 and it folded to Renat Bohdanov who called in the big blind, with 28,000 chips left.

The flop brought {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Bohdanov check-called Kempe for 4,000.

The turn {2-Spades} and river {10-Clubs} were checked and Bohdanov showed {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for ace-high, wich was good enough to make Kempe muck his hand.

Cajelais Gets a Fold

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Andreas Thiele raised to 2,400 from middle position and Sylvain Loosli three-bet to 12,000 from the small blind. Erik Cajelais four-bet to 26,000 from the big blind and Thiele folded but Loosli stuck around with a call.

The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} and Loosli checked. Cajelais threw in a bet of 22,000, that was enough to win the pot.

Machon Takes From Burns

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Simon Burns had saved on the expenses and shipped an entry to the Main Event in a satellite earlier today and late-registered for Day 1b. He got dealt an interesting table draw with Dario Sammartino, Yake Wu, and Pierre Mothes, and Bartlomiej Machon also showed up.

Sammartino raised to 2,500, which was called by Mothes in the hijack and Burns on the button. Machon in the big blind made it 14,000 to go and Burns was the only caller. Pmn a flop of {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Machon continued for 8,500 and Burns called but a second barrel of 26,000 on the {k-Clubs} turn did the trick to force a fold from Burns.

Anselmi Gets a Fold from Moadeli

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Christopher Putz raised in the cutoff to 2,200 and it was called by Mehrzad Moadeli and Federico Anselmi in the blinds.

The flop went {6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and brought no betting action. On the {7-Clubs} turn, Anselmi bet 5,300 after a check from Moadeli and only the latter called.

When the {k-Spades} hit the river, Moadeli tanked and eventually check-folded after a last bet worth 17,300 from Anselmi. Moadeli showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} while mucking his hand.
