Rezaei Crushes Cimbolas Set Over Set

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Matas Cimbolas
Matas Cimbolas

With around 140,000 in the pot on a board of 47QK, Daniel Rezaei bet 135,000 from the cutoff and Matas Cimbolas called on the button.

The river came the 2 and Rezaei moved all in. Cimbolas snap-called for his last 330,000 and turned over 77 for a set. Rezaei, though, had KK for top set to bust Cimbolas just short of the money.

Armin Rezaei was just moved to this table directly to the left of his brother.

"You can ask not to play with each other," Jonathan Pastore said.

"It's even more fun because we go super-hard against each other," Armin replied.

"I would bubble my own mother. There's no friends at the poker table," Daniel added.

Kabir Applies Maximum Pressure

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Keneshka Kabir
Keneshka Kabir

Keneshka Kabir and Tamas Adamszki had arrived on a flop of 2Q6. With 91,000 chips in the middle, Kabir checked from the small blind, and Adamszki bet 65,000 from the big blind.

Kabir made the call and the A turn rolled off. Kabir then inquired about Adamszki's stack before leading for 275,000, the vast majority of Adamszki's stack.

Adamszki quickly mucked and Kabit showed the J to indicate he could not have had a flush.

Alexandridis Survives; Eljach Wins a Pot

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Symeon Alexandridis flipped with JJ against ace-ten and made a straight on the 1094QK runout to stay in contention.

Less fortunate were Timothy Adams, Adi Rajkovic and Athanasios Kidas as they all bowed out in quick succession.

Omar Eljach then had a portion of his stack in against previous nemesis Jacob Amsellem when he check-called a bet of 75,000 by the Frenchman on the 6446 turn. The 7 river was checked and Eljach tabled the JJ, Amsellem mucked his 22 with a big smile on the face.

The field is now down to just 126 players and the money bubble is right around the corner.

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Eusebiu Jalba was in the small blind and put Fabian Gumz all in. Gumz called for his last 225,000 in the cutoff.

Fabian Gumz: AA

Boyaciyan Doubles Through Rcheulishvili

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Miguel Martinez Abad raised to 24,000 and David Boyaciyan then jammed for 174,000 from one seat over. Table chip leader Levan Rcheulishvili asked for a count and eyeballed the stack of Martinez Abad before moving all-in over the top out of the small blind.

"How much is it?" Martinez Abad joked before sending his cards into the muck.

David Boyaciyan: 1010
Levan Rcheulishvili: AQ

The pocket pair stayed ahead throughout the KJ698 board and Boyaciyan doubled near the bubble.

"I had ace-jack," Martinez Abad mentioned in table chat.

Atac Scores Large Double Through Hamani

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Salih Atac
Salih Atac

A big pot was brewing over on table 144 when Salih Atac jammed the 665A7 river for 290,000 with more than that in the middle. Zaki Hamani had checked to him and was then in the tank for at least seven minutes.

During that period, Daniel Montagnolli mentioned that Hamani had raised, Atac called. On the flop, Hamani's bet was raised for the preflop aggressor to call. Hamani then check-called the turn and checked the river.

No clock was called by any of the players before Hamani eventually called. Atac tabled the 55 for fives full of sixes and Hamani briefly exposed his QQ to become one of the shortest stacks.
