Mario Vojvoda came in with a raise to 1,600 from early position with Anton Markachev calling from the button, Lukas Pazma calling out of the small blind, and Oleh Okhotskyi defending his big blind.
After two checks on the 2♥K♣9♣ flop, Vojvoda tossed out a bet of 4,200, which only Markachev called.
A Q♣ rolled off on the turn and Vojvoda bet again, this time for 10,000. Markachev returned his cards to the dealer and surrendered the pot to Vojvoda
On a completed board of 2♣3♥K♦J♠A♣ and with around 5,000 in the middle, Tomas Novotny bet 10,000 from the big blind. Sirzat Hissou, who started the hand on the button, mulled it over for a while before deciding to call.
Novotny turned over the nuts with Q♦10♣ for a backdoor straight and the pot went over to him.
Mario Scalia raised to 1,700 under the gun and was called by Rene Knapp on the button, as well as Jeannette Mendez and Martin Vittek in the blinds.
Scalia bet 1,700 on the J♥10♥7♠ flop and Knapp and Mendez called, while Vittek got out of the way.
The turn was the 5♣ and Mendez led out for 3,500. Scalia folded, but Knapp called to see the 4♥ river. Mendez then bet 5,500, but this time Knapp raised to 21,000. Mendez quickly folded.
Grzegorz Gorski raised to 1,700 and was called only by Oemer Kaya in the cutoff. The A♠J♣8♠ flop saw Gorski with a bet of 1,300, and Kaya called. Both then checked the 3♥ turn and 4♣ river.
Gorski tabled the K♦10♦ and Kaya claimed the pot with the 5♠5♥.
Meanwhile, Mario Vojvoda and Rene Schnitzler have entered Day 1b after the dinner break.
