Bastian Döhler
Bastian Döhler

Claudio Di Giacomo and Bastian Dohler built a pot of more than 300,000 as they headed to the 634 flop. Di Giacomo then bet 225,000 from the cutoff, Dohler moved all in for 700,000, and Di Giacomo snap-called.

Bastian Dohler: QJ All in
Claudio Di Giacomo: A5

Dohler was on a flush draw, but Di Giacomo showed a better flush draw as well as a straight draw. The A turn improved Di Giacomo to a pair, and Dohler was already drawing dead before the A river gave Di Giacomo trips and the knockout.

Savino Eliminated in Unbelievable Hand

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Iago Savino
Iago Savino

Ratmir Kesidis opened for 50,000 in the hijack, then Yuhan Wang, on the button, moved in for 2,050,000. In the small blind, Iago Savino called off his last 355,000, and Kesidis got out of the pot.

Iago Savino: KJ All in
Yuhan Wang: 77

The flop fell K7J, giving Savino top two pair, but also giving Wang a greater lead with a set.

Gasps went up from the table when the three-outer J came on the turn, giving Savino the lead with jacks-full (one king had been folded preflop, eliminating one possible out).

Louder exclamations went up when the river delivered the one-outer 7, giving Wang quads and the pot.

"Oh My God!"
"Are you serious!"
"What did we just watch?!" and the obligatory, "Always coming seven!"

Savino hit the rail shortly before the last break of the day.

D'Alessio More Than Doubles; Barzantny Busts

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Wojciech Barzantny
Wojciech Barzantny

On one of the first hands back from break, Wojciech Barzantny jammed from early position for 270,000 and Ferdinando D'Alessio moved in over the top for 1,020,000 out of the cutoff. Michail Manolakis, who was seated in the big blind, took a peek at his cards, then instantly called with the covering stack.

Wojciech Barzantny: 88 All in
Ferdinando D'Alessio: A10 All in
Michail Manolakis: KK

Manolakis, with cowboys, had the chance to send two players to the rail. However, the 7AQ flop put D'Alessio in pole position with a pair of aces. D'Alessio improved to two pair on the 10 turn while Manolakis picked up a straight draw. The 5 completed the board and D'Alessio's two pair won the pot.

Barzantny hit the rail while D'Alessio more than doubled up, and Manolakis was left with around 12 big blinds.

Jaatinen Busts Levy in Brutal Fashion

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Tzur Levy
Tzur Levy

Teemu Jaatinen opened to 60,000 from middle position, and Tzur Levy defended the big blind.

On the 876 flop, Levy check-called versus a bet of 40,000 from Jaatinen.

The 4 rolled off on the turn, and Levy changed approach, leading out with a bet of 75,000. After some thought, Jaatinen called.

The 5 river put a straight on the board. Levy led out with a bet of around 420,000, leaving himself 5,000 behind.

Jaatinen jammed, and Levy called off his last chip.

Levy tabled K5, his turned eight-high straight having become a community hand by the river, but Jaatinen had 99 for the nine-high straight; a brutal end for Levy.

Daniel Eliminated by Pidun

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Gregor Daniel
Gregor Daniel

One of the shortest stacks in the field on the outer tables pushed all in from under the gun, and that happened to be Gregor Daniel for 320,000. The folds followed all the way to Vlad Andrusca in the small blind, who also let go and exposed the 10. Daniel Pidun, in the big blind, glanced at the first card, then peeled the second and called instantly.

Gregor Daniel: A6 All in
Daniel Pidun: AK

The kicker played on the J73AJ runout to send Daniel out in 40th place on a pay jump.

"Good game, Sir, I will follow you soon," Andrusca exclaimed.
