Sarvendran Has Kicker Problems

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Kumaran Sarvendran made it 20,000 from early position and only Ermanno Di Nicola called from the big blind.

Sarvendran checked to Nicola on the A4A flop and Nicola bet 10,000. Sarvendran check-raised to 35,000 and Nicola called.

Sarvendran jammed for Nicola's remaining 90,000 upon seeing the 4 roll off on the turn. Nicola called and the players went to a showdown.

Ermanno Di Nicola: AK103 All in
Kumaran Sarvendran: AJJ6

Both players had trips, but it was Nicola's king-kicker that had him in front. The Q river didn't change anything and Nicola doubled up.

Mao's Set Sends Two to the Rail

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Dorel Eldabach
Dorel Eldabach

Dorel Eldabach made it 21,000 under the gun and Renji Mao three-bet to roughly 75,000 from the next seat. Dorel Eldabach committed his last 50,000 from the button, and Gkatzas called for the remainder of his stack when the action got back to him.

Dimitrios Gkatzas: AKJ5 All in
Dorel Eldabach: 9764 All in
Renji Mao: KK86

Mao had the chance to send two players to the rail if he was able to win the hand. The dealer put out a runout of 10592K, which meant Mao's set of kings won the hand, eliminating Eldabach and Gkatzas.

The flop read J103 with 54,000 in the middle already.

Michael Tabarelli and Salih Atac bot checked from the blinds for Zdenek Zizka to bet 21,000 from under the gun. Tabarelli check-raised it to 78,000 for Atac to quickly raise the pot. Zizka opted to fold, but Taberelli put Atac all-in for him to call for 300,000 in total.

Salih Atac: KJJ4 All in
Michael Tabarelli: KQ1010
