The $35 Bomb Pot Goes to Metin Aksoy

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

The Wynn tournament staff just passed out $35 vouchers for the upcoming dinner break after Level 6. The vouchers are good at any Wynn of Encore food establishment and are goo through July 2.

Lily Kiletto already has dinner plans, so instead of letting her voucher go to waste, she opted to toss it in the pot to the winner of the next hand. As it turned out, she won that pot so she let it ride to the next hand.

In it, the under-the-gun player called and Blair Hinkle did the same from middle position. Metin Aksoy then raised to 1,200 from the hijack, the player on the button called, and both blinds folded. The UTG player and Hinkle called to make it four-way action to the flop, which fell {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

Two checks saw Aksoy continue for 3,500 and only Hinkle called to see the {3-Hearts} turn. Hinkle checked and Aksoy bet 8,600.

"Alright, you earned it," Hinkle said before folding his hand.

Aksoy then flashed the {q-Spades} before collecting the pot and bonus $35 dining voucher.

Checking It Down with Zinno & Reilly

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante
Tim Reilly
Tim Reilly

Greg Himmelbrand raised to 700 from middle position and Tim Reilly called from the cutoff. Jack McClelland folded from the button before Anthony Zinno three-bet to 4,000 from the small blind.

Himmelbrand got out of the way and Reilly thought for a bit before calling to see a flop of {6-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Both players checked and then action repeated itself on the {5-Spades} turn as well as the {2-Diamonds} river.

Zinno tabled the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the nut no-pair and it was good as Reilly sent his cards to the muck.

Sepiol Applies Pressure

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Mihai Manole raised from late position and action folded around to Daniel Sepiol who defended his big blind.

The {9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop was checked by both players to the {2-Diamonds} turn where Sepiol led out and Manole called bringing the {a-Spades} river.

With 4,100 in the pot, Sepiol check-raised to 9,500 after Manole fired out 2,700 and after some time in the tank, Manole released giving Sepiol the pot.

Zamani Looking to Rebuild

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Shawn Rice opened for 700 from early position and the player in the lojack called. A short-stacked Martin Zamani then three-bet jammed for 2,900 from the button, both blinds folded, and Rice isolated by four-betting to 10,000 straight.

Shawn Rice: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Martin Zamani: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

"I like your hand," Rice said upon seeing Zamani's kings.

The {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop paired Rice, but that was all the help he would get as the {7-Clubs} bricked the turn followed by the {2-Diamonds} on the river. Ship the small double to Zamani.

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action quickly folded around to the small blind where Nick Phoenix raised to 900 before calling the big blinds 3,000 three-bet .

The {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board was checked to showdown where Phoenix tabled {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} to win the pot.

Wenzl Flops Trips for Double

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action on the table folded around to Robert Wenzl who raised all in for 4,100 on the button and Bin Weng isolated from the small blind.

Bin Weng: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Robert Wenzl: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Wenzl was way behind needing some help and found it after the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop gave him trip jacks. The {6-Hearts} turn was a good card for Wenzl as it left Weng drawing dead and the {3-Hearts} river secured his much needed double.
