Back-to-Back Pocket Tens for Rob Wazwaz w/ Different Results

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Rob Wazwaz
Rob Wazwaz

David "The Dragon" Pham moved all in for 48,000 from the cutoff and Minnesota's Rob Wazwaz jammed over the top from the small blind, which prompted the player in the big to fold.

"I just looked at one," Pham admitted.

David Pham: {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Rob Wazwaz: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Pham was in need of some help and he got it when the board ran out {3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades} to give him winning trips.

In the very next hand, action folded to Wazwaz on the button and he moved in for 41,000. The player in the small blind called and it was off to the races.

Rob Wazwaz: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

For the second hand in a row Wazwaz had pocket tens, but this time they held as the board ran out a clean {2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Kristen Deardoff
Kristen Deardoff

Kristen Deardorff raised to 9,000 from late position and was called by Camille Brown on the button, along with Derek McMaster from the small blind.

The {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop was checked to Deardorff who continued and only Brown called bringing the {10-Diamonds} turn. Both players checked and the dealer completed the board with the {k-Spades} on the river.

Deardorff fired out a 26,000 bet and Brown called only to fold after seeing Deardorff roll over {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

Action was picked up on the river with the board displayed to read {2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

The pot was about 85,000 and from early position Farid Jattin made an overbet of 111,000 to Christopher Doan who was also in early position. Doan had to think it over for a while and after about two minutes he made the call.

Jattin showed the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for the straight while Doan mucked.

Pham Finds Life Through Wazwaz

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David Pham raised to 14,000 from the hijack and then called off his 28,000 stack after Rob Wazwaz three-bet to 30,000 on the button.

David Pham: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Rob Wazwaz: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Pham was behind holding live cards and connected on the {8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} to take the lead. The {j-Clubs} turn improved Pham to top two-pair but also gave him a sweat as Wazwaz picked up the broadway draw.

Luckily for Pham, the {a-Hearts} completed the board on the river and secured his double up.

Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

Action was at the river with the board reading {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Out of the small blind, Dylan Linde led out with a small bet of 12,000.

Michael Rossitto was on the button and he raised to 60,000. Linde went into the tank to consider the raise. After about a minute he called.

Rossitto had only the pair on board as he tabled the {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} while Linde had the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} for the winning two-pair hand and collected the pot to build up his large stack more.

Funaro Snaps Off Piccioli's Jam

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Frank Funaro
Frank Funaro

Action was picked up as two players committed chips to the middle on the flop and the dealer had just peeled the turn card for the board to read {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

Frank Funaro check-called a bet of 55,000 from Bryan Piccioli after both players acted deliberately.

The river was the {6-Hearts}. Funaro checked again. Piccioli thought for a while before announcing a jam (his stack being around 170,000) which Funaro snap called and tabled the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the full boat. Piccioli shook his head and meekly showed {k-}{k-} as he got up from the table to leave as his chips joined the swelling stack of Funaro.
