Young Turns a King to Eliminate Dudley

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded around to Dash Dudley who raised to 23,000 from the cutoff only to have Orson Young three-bet jam on the button. Action folded back around to Dudley who called putting his 190,000 stack at risk.

Dash Dudley: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Orson Young: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Dudley had Young dominated and nothing changed after the {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Unfortunately for Dudley, Young hit his three-outer as the {k-Diamonds} fell on the turn and the {10-Hearts} river eliminated Dudley from the tournament.

Foxen Calls Clock on Kovac

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Fikret Kovac raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and was called by the player in the small blind before Alex Foxen three-bet to 105,000 from the big blind.

Only Kovac called bring action heads-up to the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop. Foxen continued for 75,000 and Kovac quickly put out a 200,000 raise. Foxen glared at Kovac and announced a 330,000 three-bet. Kovac took a few minutes and then put in the chips bringing the {j-Clubs} turn.

A few moments went buy before Foxen said all in, sending Kovac deep into the tank. After a good amount of time went by, Foxen called for a clock and the tournament director began the 25-second countdown. Kovac used the full amount of time, then mucked his hand and told Foxen, "I mucked {a-}{k-}."

Soderstrom Stays Alive After Turning an Ace

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded around to Tomas Soderstrom who raised all in for 119,000 from the cutoff, Julian Milliard called on the button only to fold after Daniel Sepiol came over the top from the small blind.

Daniel Sepiol: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Tomas Soderstrom: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}

Soderstrom was behind and at risk but added more outs after the {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop gave him the wheel draw. The turn came the {a-Clubs} putting Soderstrom in the lead but it did bring possible chop outs if a four were to fall on the river.

Luckily for Soderstrom, the {7-Diamonds} completed the board securing him the pot.

Montes Sends Bicknell Into the Tank

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with a board that read {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts}. In the small blind, Kristen Bicknell checked. Jose Montes was in early position and bet 48,000 into a pot of around 60,000. Bicknell took her time before she called.

The river was the {2-Diamonds}. Bicknell checked again. Montes shoved to force Bicknell to make a decision for her tournament life with about 125,000 behind in her stack.

She toiled with the decision for several minutes before eventually electing to fold, afterwards saying on that occasion she was not weighted in either direction toward a call or fold but rather completely in the middle on the tough decision.

Action folded to Brent Roberts on the button and he put in a raise. Amit Makhija was in the big blind with approximately 220,000 and three-bet jammed, which Roberts called.

Brent Roberts: {8-}{8-}
Amit Makhija: {a-}{9-}

It was a flip situation but Makhija needed to improve to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, that didn't happen as the board ran out clean to send him packing in 107th place for $29,348.
