No Big Blind Special for Bicknell

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

In the final hand before players went on break, Kristen Bicknell was seen leaving her seat after losing all of her chips to Mitchell Halverson and he was kind enough to fill us in on the action.

According to Halverson, he raised to 36,000 from the small blind and Bicknell defended her big blind to see a rainbow {a-}{7-}{4-} flop.

He continued for 20,000 and Bicknell called.

The {k-Spades} turn put two spades on the board and he made a pot sized bet of 130,000. Bicknell called and the {8-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

He then jammed for for roughly 330,000 and Bicknell called off her stack holding less.

Bicknell showed {k-}{7-} for two pair but it was no good as Halverson held {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for the nuts and eliminated her from the tournament.

Zufic Sends One to the Rail

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A short-stacked player jammed for 63,000 from early position and Ivan Zufic moved all in over the top from the small blind, which prompted the player in the big to fold.

Ivan Zufic: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

The board ran out a clean {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Zufic scored the knockout.
