Min Rivers Lucky Ace to Drop Opponent as Money Bubble Looms

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jason Min
Jason Min

The hijack player raised to 20,000 and Jason Min three-bet to 54,000 from the cutoff.

Action folded back around to the initial raiser who four-bet to 100,000 and Min called bringing about the {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{q-Hearts} flop.

Min jammed after his opponent continued for 60,000 and the hijack player called off their 200,000 stack.

Opponent: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Jason Min: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Min flopped top pair but was still trailing his opponents pocket kings and the {7-Clubs} that paired the board on the turn didn't change a thing.

Min was left needing an ace or queen and luckily for him, the dealer dropped the {a-Spades} on the river as he eliminated his opponent from the tournament a few spots off from the money bubble.

Hand-for-Hand Play Begins

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With the clock reading 191 players remaining, the tournament staff has opted to begin hand-for-hand play. Just the top 188 finishers will get paid a minimum of $7,860, which means a few more need to leave empty-handed before the money is made. Stay tuned to learn what happens!

Ingles Massacred

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jared Ingles moved all in for 123,000 from middle position and action folded to Hassan El-Hakim, who called from the big blind.

Jared Ingles: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Hassan El-Hakim: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

El-Hakim had the superior ace and flopped the joint when it came down {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Ingles was looking for either running spades or a queen to chop, but neither happened as the {j-Hearts} bricked the turn followed by the {5-Diamonds} on the river.

Wongwichit Doubles through Zufic

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ivan Zufic raised to 20,000 under the gun and cleared the field to Phachara Wongwichit, who three-bet jammed for 263,000 from the small blind. Zufic seemed suspicious and thought long and hard before spiking in a call.

Phachara Wongwichit: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Ivan Zufic: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Zufic had a kicker problem and it didn't get resolved as the board ran out {q-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Sengphet Applies Pressure

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
La Sengphet
La Sengphet

There was heads-up action between La Sengphet from the button and the hijack player with a completed board of {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board showing.

With roughly 100,000 already in the middle, Sengphet moved all-in after her opponent checked their option, sending them deep into the tank.

After a clock was called, Sengphet's opponent quickly mucked their hand giving her the pot.
