Truly a stunning day, as just days after winning Event #14, Brock 'Tsoprano' Parker did it all again to win his second bracelet within a week beating over a 1,000 players during this 3-day tournament.
He entered the final table in second place behind Joe Serock, the latter dominating the early parts of the final table. Serock and Parker got heads up and Parker managed to get the advantage early on.
Serock did battle back but Parker won crucial pots and finally finished off his opponent for a famous victory.
Congratulations to Brock Parker, winner of Event #14 and now also the winner of Event #19! -

Punch-Counterpunch
First, Brock Parker got a walk. Then Parker raised from the button to 200,000, and Joe Serock folded. Next, Serock made the 200,000 preflop raise, and Parker folded.
On the next hand, Parker again opened with a raise to 200,000. This time Serock reraised to 540,000, and Parker quickly pushed back with a big reraise to 1.5 million. Serock exhaled with a weary look, and folded. -

Brock, Joe... and Steve?
We just had a change of announcers, and it took the new one a few hands to learn that Joe Serock's name was not, in fact, Steve.
The announcer was back on track, but after Serock took that last hand, his cheering section had an idea.
"Ship it to Steve! Let's go, Steve!"
Serock took the next small pot, and surely thanks to the suggestion from the bleachers, the announcer slipped again. It appears that mental battle will be the much less significant game-within-game going forward. -
