Starting Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 at Foxwoods® Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut will host the first World Series of Poker Circuit event of the 2013-14 season of the tour. The series kicks off with a $365 buy-in no-limit hold'em event, and there are 12 gold ring events on tap. The bread and butter of the series will be the $1,675 Main Event, kicking off with Day 1a on Saturday, Aug. 17. Players who are eliminated on Day 1a may re-enter on Day 1b per WSOP rules.

Last year, Kevin Saul defeated a field of 615 entries to earn the $194,178 first-place prize. Notables Paul Snead (4th — $65,096), Benjamin Reason (5th — $49,007), Robert Corcione (6th — $37,356) and Peter Campo (8th — $22,654) all reached the final table. Match Offers

Each week during the month of August, Foxwoods Rewards cardholders are eligible to receive one match offer from any Connecticut, Rhode Island or New York casino property. The offer denomination type will be matched at the time of the transaction at any of the five Foxwoods Rewards locations. Qualifying offers include Bonus Slot Play, Match Play, free bets, food and hotel.
