Throwback Thursday: Haralabos Voulgaris On Why One Drop's Field Is Smaller

Ever since Guy Laliberté announced that the Big One for One Drop was coming back, the poker community has been paying attention. The €1,000,000 buy-in event is part of a five-day high-stakes cash game and tournament festival to be held Oct. 13-17 at the Casino de Monte Carlo. The caveat to this event is that this one is invitation only.

There have been varying thoughts on the exclusion of pros. In fact, PokerNews contributor Mo Nuwwarah and Editor-in-Chief Matthew Parvis had a debate on the issue. But the question is, did we all see this coming?

In this 2014 interview, Frank Op de Woerd spoke to Haralabos Voulgaris about why the numbers were down in the second Big One for One Drop. As usual, Voulgaris shares an insightful and spot-on perspective.
