PokerStars September Dynasty Series

PokerStars on FanDuel wrapped up a successful September Dynasty Series that offered $3.5 million in guarantees for players in Ontario (Canada), New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

The series featured three Main Events — one $1,500 High Roller in the US and two $300 NLH Main Events in US and Ontario markets. Two champions emerged in the $300 Main Events as "LoveToLose" won the US title and "Mamalega" won the Ontario edition.

Main Events Wrap Up Successful Series

The series is one of the biggest offered since PokerStars merged with FanDuel earlier this year and launched a shared liquidity pool across three states.

It proved to be a success as the $300 Main Event in the US, which offered a $350,000 guaranteed prize pool, drew 859 runners. Meanwhile, the event exclusive to Ontario players drew 176 runners.

The ironically named "LoveToLose" topped the US field of 800-plus players to win $59,422, while "Mamalega" navigated the Ontario field to claim $10,100.

There were other big guarantees and highlights throughout the series, which kicked off on Sept. 9 with a $50 NLH Nightly Dynasty event with a $25,000 guarantee and a $1,000 NLHE Storm Kickoff event with a $100,000 guarantee.

Other events with six-figure guarantees included the $500 NLH Storm and $100 NLHE Dynasty events, which respectively offered guarantees of $100,000 and $150,000.

The series wrapped up on Sept. 28 with the $150 NLHE Sendoff Cooldown, which had a $12,500 guarantee attached.

There have been other highlights on the popular new online poker platform. In July, one player in Pennsylvania received a $250,000 payout on a $50 buy-in Spin & Go, winning 5,000 times their investment to make for the biggest payout in PokerStars FanDuel history.

And there are tournaments and cash games running around the clock, including yesterday's $250 Super Tuesday event with a $7,500 guarantee attached and the smaller buy-in $25 Big Starter with a $1,500 guarantee.
