Odagiri Gets Value in Dangerous Board

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Yuri Odagiri
Yuri Odagiri

Yuri Odagiri is one of the many ladies that appeared in National's field for Day 1a, and so far they have a very good presence.

In one of the last hands, Odagiri found some value on the river, where she bet 7,000 with the board showing {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. She wasn't probably very excited when a four-card straight came on the river, while she was holding {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a set of threes.

Either way, her opponent paid the bet and mucked his cards to bring her stack up to 42,000 in chips.

Han Surging

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Taehoon Han has clearly put on a spurt in the last level or so and has chipped up to over 60,000.

In this hand there was an open to 600 and a single caller before Han three-bet to 2,500 on the button. The initial raiser folded and the caller saw a flop of {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} along with Han.

He called a continuation bet of 2,000 from Han and the turn was the {4-Spades}. This time, however, he check-folded to a bet of 7,000 and Han took down the pot.

He Folds Top Pair

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

There was a pot of 10,000 already on a {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} board, and Max Curtis bet 6,200 out of the small blind. Qunxiong He was his opponent who thought for a while and even counted out the chips required to make the call.

Eventually, however, he open-folded the {q-Hearts} for top pair and Curtis took down the pot.

Two Bets Do the Job for Gab Kim

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Gab Kim won a pot were the action was three-way. The flop was reading {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades} and the pot had almost 6,000 chips in it.

Gab Kim was in the lojack position, and he checked, with Eran Shaham in the cutoff and the button player following with checks, too.

The turn card was the {9-Diamonds}, and this time Kim took the initiative, by betting 2,800. Both his opponents called, and the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

This time Kim bet 7,000, with the two other players folding their hands.
