Defending Champion Rivera Eliminated

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Defending APPT National Manila champion Marc Rivera was all in for 15,700 against Ulrik Scotwin.

Ulrik Scotwin: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Marc Rivera: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Scotwin sighed after calling when he saw that he was dominated. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades} offering him very little in the way of help, but the {j-Spades} saw him take the lead and reduce Rivera to just three outs.

The {7-Clubs} river wasn't one of them and he was eliminated.

Tian's River Call is Good

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Hao Tian was in middle position and three-bet to 7,500 chips, after a player's open who decided to call.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and both players checked. The same happened in the {9-Spades} on the turn, and the {j-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

This time the initial raiser bet 6,500, and Hao Tian quickly made the call. His opponent had {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nut flush, but Tian's {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} have made a full house on the turn, which gave him the pot.

Tautvydas Eliminates an Opponent in Rollercoaster All-In

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jonikas Tautvydas opened to 2,500 off a stack of around 60,000. He got one caller before the player in the big blind three-bet all in for 14,800. Tautvydas then four-bet all in and the caller folded.

Jonikas Tautvydas: {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
All-in Player: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The all-in player was ahead for now, but the {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop did give Tautvydas outs to a flush. However, he didn't need them as he hit a {j-Spades} on the turn, meaning the all-in player now needed one of Tautvydas' original outs, with a queen (or indeed a seven) for a straight.

The river, however, was the {2-Hearts} and he was eliminated.
