Neilson Hits Inside

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Daniel Neilson has just brutalized his opponent, sending the unkown player straight home with a miracle river card.

Neilson was on the button and was check-called on all streets with a board reading {7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}. On the flop Neilson fired out 1,100, on the turn 1,650 and on the river he put in a stack of grey chips enough to put his opponent allin.

The player called Neilson down and Neilson showed {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, the three barrels paying off as the inside straight draw was hit on the river.

Mizzi Missed

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

The battle between Sorel Mizzi and Ben Delaney has continued with an action pot taking place just moments ago.

Delaney raised to 1,000 from under the gun with Mizzi in the big blind. When play came to Mizzi he three-bet to 2,900. Delaney made the call and a flop would come.

Flop: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Mizzi led out on this board, it would be 3,600 to Delaney. He made the call and a turn card would come.

With the turn came the {j} and this time a check from Mizzi. Delaney counted his stack and looked from Mizzi to the pot and back to his stack, deciding the right amount to bet was 3,500 and if the fold from Mizzi is anything to go by then Delaney was spot on.

Lunardi Doubles

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

2010 Aussie Millions $2,200 6-Max event winner Kristian Lunardi found himself short stacked for most of the day so far, but things are now starting to look better.

Lunardi moved the remaining of his stack in with {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and took down the pot on a {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} board.

Lunardi now has a healthier 9,000.

Hinrichsen Hurdles Upwards

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Andrew Hinrichsen and Leo Boxell just clashed stacks over on table 26, with our PokerNews reporter arriving just in time to see a flop and the corresponding action play out!

The three cards showing were {3-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, whereby Hinrichsen bet 1,000. Boxell called from the button and the next was the {a-Clubs}. This time Hinrichsen led for 2,700 which Boxell quickly min-raised to 5,400. Hinrichsen tanked and called.

The {7-Clubs} sent the action to Boxell after Hinrichsen checked. Boxell then shoved his just over 20,000 stack into the pot. Hinrichsen then spent almost 5 minutes in the tank. Eventually he came up for air and called.

Hinrichsen's {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} would best Boxell's {j-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Hinrichsen would move to over 50,000.

Side By Side

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Both are extrememly successful players. One has tasted success of the highest level, taking down an Aussie Millions Main Event and one has stepped out of their brothers shadow to firm their place as one of the best players in Australia.

Tony Hachem and Stewart Scott are having a grand old time over at their table, sitting side by side needling each other and taking pots from one another.

In the last hand they played, Hachem led into Scott with a {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board, at which point Scott folded and in jest asked if he could see his cards.

"Which one?", asked Hachem.

"Both of course!", laughed Scott.

Hachem then proceeded to slowly peel over the {4-Clubs}.

"How do you have that hand!", Scott shouted grabbing Hachem playfully by the arm.

Laughing with his friend Hachem took down the pot and stacked his new chips.
