We’re down to four tables and 24 players now and the plan is to lose one more table before bagging up for the night. The remaining 18 players are scheduled to come back at 4pm but the floor men may ask the players to come back at 2pm instead to try and ensure tomorrow’s finish isn’t too late.
Tom Middleton has gone on a rampage that has seen him take down several huge pots to now sit as the chip leader of this tournament. The latest casualty to fall to Middleton's wrath was none other than Joe Hachem.
Middleton had been rumbling with Hachem for several orbits and it seems Hachem had enough. The hand started when Hachem opened the pot to 8,000. Middleton then three-bet to 22,000 and this is when Hachem shoved his stack all in. Middlton snapped Hachem off and tabled his to be dominating the of Hachem.
When the board ran out , Middleton took down the hand and sent the 2005 WSOP Main Event champion to the rail. Hachem officially exits the building in 27th place.
Tom Middleton is having a storming couple of hours, and racing very well. In his latest hand he won a race to claim the scalp of the likable Jesse McKenzie.
Middleton raised into the big blind of Joe Hachem once again but before Hachem could move, McKenzie three-bet all-in for about 90,000 from the small blind. Call.

The board ran . McKenzie jokingly pointed out that the boards have been nice and low for the Brit today, and he's not wrong.
Jackie Glazier will be having an earlier night than she would have hoped, seeing her tournament life end when she got her stack all in holding and coming up against an opponent's .
Tom Middleton is pushing Joe Hachem's buttons after he doubled-up through him. We've witnessed him raise the Aussie's big blind twice, and three-bet him once. Hachem is taking it all in his stride right now, but there's still plenty of time to snap tonight.
Meanwhile, down the other ended of the floor, Kosta Mamaliadis has won a few big pots that have seen him claim the chip lead on a massive 385,000.
Craig Cockburn is now sitting with a very nice chip stack, courtesy of a big hand he recently played with Jesse McKenzie. Apparently McKenzie and Cockburn got all the chips in on a queen-high flop, featuring two diamonds. McKenzie held and Cockburn held . A diamond ended up hitting on the board and Cockburn took down the big pot.
Joe Hachem was one of the players who managed to abuse the bubble the most and ended up with more than 200,000 chips once it burst.
Post bubble had not been so kind to him. He's down to 130,000 chips after doubling-up his neighbour, Tom Middleton. The talented young Brit raised to 6,000 from UTG before the former world champ three-bet to 16,000 from the big blind. Middleton four-bet all for 88,600 and Hachem called.
He tabled ace-king but failed to hit through the board.
Vesko Zmukic was short stacked on the bubble after getting his stack all in holding and running into the of an opponent. Zmukic then ran into the of Joel Dodds, when he held . For his effort, Zmukic goes home in 35th place and receives $2,080.
The unfortunate player to leave penny-less is Nick Bizimoski. He had blinded down to 9,000 when he three-bet all-in from the big blind with after a button raise to 6,000.
The button called with and made two-pair on the board.
There was another all-in at the same time on a different table but pocket kings managed to hold-up versus ace-queen
